“This serum is a sensorial delight from the very first drop. The scent is soft and uplifting and sets the tone for a luxurious ritual. It delivers such a refined finish that it doubles as a primer under makeup. A joy to use. This feels like a brand that’s been practising true sustainability long before it became a buzzword. You really get the sense that nothing is done just for show. The fact that products are made on-site at their herb farm is so commendable.”
–Amy Starr - Beauty Editor

“I’m a huge fan of hemp and organic cotton, I think it’s so incredibly essential that we all move towards wearing natural fibres and materials and this is exactly the type of clothing I want to be wearing. I seriously love the materials, this is very important, but I also love their commitment to slow fashion by making limited runs. I love to see lounge, activewear and underwear made from such lush, beautiful, safe materials!”
–Plastic Free Mermaid - Environmental Activist + Sustainability Advocate

The Awards Toolkit - Boost Your Visibility
Our Awards Toolkit offers a beautiful suite of optional extras to help you make the most of your finalist or winning achievement. It includes a click-to-buy link in our directories, a lifetime licence to your product’s Awards artwork files, plus opportunities to join promotional campaigns and giveaways throughout the year.
The Toolkit is entirely optional. Every entry is researched, judged and celebrated regardless, with all finalists simply given the choice to opt in.
If you decide not to, that’s completely fine. You’ll still receive one high-res artwork file featuring your product with its Finalist or Winning Rosette, a place in both our Finalists and Winners directories, and social media features.
For those who do choose the Toolkit, it’s a meaningful way to boost visibility, support sales and extend the life of your Award result.
The 2026 Awards Toolkit is $260 + GST for early birds, and $320 + GST thereafter, per product.

The Sustainability + Social Impact Awards
Our Sustainability + Social Impact Awards exist to recognise brands that are thinking beyond product alone – considering the wider impact of how they source, operate, give back and show up in the world.
This Award is about intention and progress, not perfection. It’s our way of celebrating brands taking meaningful steps to nurture and protect people and planet.
💚 Automatic entry for finalists
Every finalist across all categories is automatically considered for the Sustainability + Social Impact Awards – at no additional cost. No extra forms, no hidden fees.
💚 Progress over perfection
We understand that no brand gets sustainability or social impact perfectly right. What matters is genuine effort and a commitment to doing better. (You can read more about this approach HERE.)
💚 A genuine celebration
This Award exists simply to shine a light on brands creating positive change – big or small.

Frequently asked questions
Who are the Clean + Conscious Awards for?
The Awards are for purpose-led brands creating products that are safe, ethical and sustainable. Many of our finalists and winners are small or emerging businesses – from kitchen-table startups to growing brands.
Every product is judged on quality and impact, not brand size or marketing spend. Discounts are available for small businesses and First Nations-owned brands.
What makes the Awards credible?
- Every product is reviewed with care and transparency.
- Founded and personally overseen by Emily Fletcher, whose background in Optometry, Pharmacology and Advanced Chemistry underpins the evidence‑based review process.
- Each product is assessed independently, with strict measures in place to avoid conflicts of interest.
- This evidence-based and transparent process means a Clean + Conscious Award is a genuine mark of integrity and trust.
Is it only for large or well‑known brands?
Not at all. Many finalists and winners are small or emerging businesses run by founders creating purpose‑driven products.
We offer:
- A Small Business Discount
- A First Nations Business Discount
Judging is based on product quality and a brand’s relative impact, not brand size or marketing spend.
What kind of impact can entering have?
For many brands, entering the Awards leads to new opportunities:
- Retail interest and media coverage
- Stronger consumer trust and relationships
- A sense of community and peer recognition among conscious‑brands
Entering the Awards is a chance to have your work thoughtfully seen, respected and celebrated by those who share your values.

Can I re-enter a product that won or was a Finalist previously?
Yes! Re-entries are warmly welcomed.
If you entered in 2025, you can absolutely re-enter in 2026. Many of our winners are multi-year entrants.
Your product deserves to be seen, trusted and celebrated.
How many samples do I need to send and when?
Initially, you’ll send one product for an in-depth review by our Head of Research & Education, Emily Fletcher. If your product is selected as a finalist, we’ll then ask you to send three additional products (or two for products over $180) for hands-on testing by our Expert Panel. All products are non-returnable and are tested under real-life conditions.
What information is required on the entry form?
You’ll be asked for key details so we can properly assess your product, including:
Product name and recommended retail price
Full ingredients or materials list (INCI)
Product description / key features
Ethical practices (sourcing, supply chain, labour standards)
Sustainability (materials, packaging, environmental footprint)
Social responsibility (giving back, diversity, community impact)
We know no one’s doing everything perfectly – focus on what you’re doing well and the positive steps you’re taking.
How are products judged?
Every product goes through a clear, independent review process:
Initial review – Emily Fletcher thoroughly researches and hands-on reviews each entry, assessing ingredients, materials and overall impact.
Finalist judging – Finalist products are then tested by our Expert Panel of 80+ editors, practitioners, sustainability professionals and ethical business experts.
Judging criteria – Products are assessed on ingredients/materials, usability and performance, packaging (including postal packaging), and ethical, sustainable + social responsibility practices.
Do I need certifications or lab tests to enter?
Certifications (such as organic, fair-trade or lab testing) are helpful but not essential. They’re more relevant in some categories (for example, proving drink bottles are lead-free), but you’re welcome to enter without formal certifications. You can upload any documentation you do have as supporting information.
