Lucy E Cousins

Lucy E Cousins is one of Australia’s most experienced health journalists. She has a passion for science-backed and expert-led wellness trends, sustainability and living a greener, less toxic life. She is currently the Wellness Editor for Marie Claire, the editor of wellness website, and the director of content creation brand, She produces wellness and lifestyle content for high-profile websites and publications, corporate companies, brands and websites, and has been featured on TV, in radio and in podcasts in Australia and overseas. Most recently she was editor of the HCF member magazine, editor-in-chief of CLEO and Dolly, and editor of Women’s Fitness magazine.

Lille Madden


Laura Wells is an Environmentalist, presenter, Science communicator and one of Australia’s top models. She holds degrees in both Biology and Law, qualifications in Environmental management systems and currently studying a Diploma of Paramedical Science; Laura’s passion for the environment, love for the ocean and interest in facilitating climate change action has led her to become a positive role model, advocate and ambassador for change.

Her reach and popularity as an international model, promoting positive body image and shooting for clients worldwide, has allowed her to use her social media platform as a tool to promote healthy lifestyle not just physically and mentally, but socially and environmentally as well.

Sjana Earp

Sjana (prounounced See – ah – nah) teaches yoga and mindfulness retreats all around the world (and now online too!), and is the author of “You Will Rise”, a poetry and photography book for your soul. Sjana says, “I’m passionate about health and wellness, not only of ourselves as individuals, but also as the global collective and our Mumma Earth..

“I believe in living as lightly and as kindly as possible, so that this human experience can be as enjoyable, meaningful and as healing as possible,” Sjana says.  “I don’t expect anyone to be perfect at living a low-tox, vegan, sustainable, zero waste lifestyle (including myself), but I do believe in just showing up each day, and trying our best, giving back and being open to learning and adapting to new and lighter ways of living. Connecting daily to the self, others and to Source.”

Melissa Mai

Melissa Mai is a Yoga Teacher of 7 years and is passionate about women reclaiming their power through embodiment and self expression work. She leads classes and workshops around Australia and has recently become a first time Mother to her daughter Grace.

Nayuka Gorrie

Nayuka Gorrie is a Gunai/Kurnai, Gunditjmara, Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta freelance and comedy television writer. Their writing centres on black, feminist and queer politics. They co-wrote and performed in the third and fourth seasons of Black Comedy and provided additional writing on the second season of Get Krack!n.  More recently, Nayuka was a writer for the sbs/Matchbox series, The Heights(season 2) and the NITV children’s series, Thalu. Nayuka’s writing can be found in The Guardian, Saturday Paper, Vice, Junkee, Archer Magazine, The Lifted Brow and NITV among others.

Jade Woodd

Jade is a passionate foodie, qualified naturopath and nutritionist, recipe developer and photographer, mumma to 3 beautiful girls and owner of Panaceas Pantry – a plant based blog space dedicated to providing wholesome, simple and low impact recipes for all. Her passion for living with less, leaving a smaller footprint and reducing the toxic load of her family, community and planet spans decades and she integrates these philosophies into the lives of her family with an ever expanding dedication to learning.

Neha Hobson

Neha Hobson is a content creator in the ethical beauty niche. With over 15+ years experience in the beauty industry, Neha combines her skills in professional makeup artistry, business coaching, education and beauty writing to offer an array of professional services for beauty brands.

Her business, Beauty By Neha was awarded “Women’s Empowerment & Ethical Beauty Advocate of the Year 2020” in the Health, Beauty and Wellness awards recently. Her motto is, “real-beauty is holistic and cruelty-free.” Passionate about educating and inspiring women, Neha’s writing is geared towards building awareness of important causes like animal testing, inspiring healthier choices, and helping women cultivate beauty from within.

Fiona Morouco

Fiona is a blogger and mum to two young boys. She firmly believes that it’s the small steps you take to make a change that truly matter. If everyone were to make small, simple swaps to sustainable and low tox products, it would all add up! Fiona loves to try new products and share the gems with her audience.

A mum to two-year-old, Rafferty and four-month-old, Romy, Sarah is a columnist and the Lifestyle Health Editor for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

Stephanie Kurlow

Stephanie Kurlow is a ballet dancer from Sydney, Australia with Russian heritage. Stephanie became renowned through her quest to become the first professional hijab-wearing ballerina in the world. In 2010, Stephanie and her family converted to Islam, she then later began wearing the hijab at age 11 and soon noticed that she was treated differently. Since then, she has become a strong advocate of inclusion and diversity within the performing arts industry and works towards breaking down the stereotypes associated with the discipline. For the past two years Stephanie has been working with The Wiggles as a dancer and performer in their TV and film work. 

In 2018 Stephanie received a scholarship to The Royal Danish Ballet Summer School and toured Europe solo at 16ysr of age. Recently during COVID-19 lockdown, Misty Copeland asked her to be a part of her Swans For Relief campaign and video. Where 32 ballet dancers from 14 countries came together to perform The Dying Swan variation to raise money for their respective companies/organisations.

Brittanie Dreghorn

Brittanie Dreghorn is the founder and editor of Britt’s List – an online fashion publication dedicated to telling the stories behind Australian fashion brands that lead their industry in environmental sustainability and ethical treatment of people and animals. Since launching Britt’s List in 2017, Britt has made it her mission to raise awareness of the issues in the fashion industry and help promote and profile fashion brands that are making genuine efforts in sustainability.

Kate Hall

Kate Hall is an educator, activist, speaker, and blogger who demonstrates through her own life, how simple it can be to be a conscious consumer. Kate is a proud brand ambassador for sustainably-minded companies, advocating for them through her social media, and sharing about them on her blog. Kate educates about ethical fashion to high schools around Auckland, has presented on a TEDx stage, and helps professionals understand their impact too. With a degree in Business Psychology and experience as a young person living in Mongolia, helping people and the planet thrive together is her life mission. When she’s not typing away or creating content, you’ll find her pottering in her vegetable garden, walking the beach with her husband and dog, or making home-brew kombucha.

Lindsay Miles

Lindsay Miles is an educator, speaker, author and passionate zero waste/plastic-free living advocate helping others live more meaningful lives with less waste and less stuff. She has been sharing ideas, tips, tricks and strategies on her website Treading My Own Path since 2013, and has been featured across international media including, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Mind Body Green,TreeHugger, TEDx and more. She has written two books about living with less waste: Less Stuff (2019) and The Less Waste No Fuss Kitchen (2020).

Ria Andriani

Ria Andriani is a braille reader by day, a musician and writer in her spare time. She is a passionate advocate for accessibility and sustainability and has great help to physical distance from her guide dog Max, a black Labrador.

Sigourney Cantelo

One of Australia’s best-known and most highly-regarded beauty and health experts, Sigourney has a career that spans nearly two decades across print, TV and digital journalism. She is the founder and editor of, a beauty destination that delves into the lives and bathroom cabinets of the country’s most influential and inspiring women. On her instagram channels @beauticate, @sigourneycantelo and YouTube channel, Sigourney creates honest and informative how-to videos, bringing authority and experience to the world of online beauty. Prior to launching Beauticate, she was the Beauty and Health Director at Vogue Australia, Glamour and New Woman magazines and has also written for The Sunday Telegraph’s body+soul, Russh and The Australian.

Nick Hall

Nick Hall is the digital editor of Man of Many, Australia’s largest men’s lifestyle publication. Overseeing coverage of gear, technology and grooming products, Nick leads an editorial team dedicated to providing men with the knowledge to make a positive and meaningful purchase. Nick is also a qualified barber and men’s stylist with over five years’ experience in the men’s grooming industry. 

Samantha Christian

Samantha Christian is a mother of two beautiful little girls, a marketing professional, serial entrepreneur and lover of all things Australian made. After becoming pregnant with her first child and suffering with varying skin conditions Sam starting making a move towards lowering the toxins in her life. While Sam will tell you that her journey towards low-toxin living is still in its beginning stages she believes that making small impactful changes make all the difference.

Teodora Tinc

I’m Teo, a Melbourne based photographer and new mama to baby Charlie. Along my journey to creating a family, I became passionate about learning ways to live a slower, more sustainable and mindful life. I fell in love with essential oils and discovering ways to empower our health by reducing toxins and prioritising our wellbeing. Amanda Callan

Amanda Callan is a mother of four boys and a degree-qualified naturopath, nutritionist and herbalist. Together with her husband Andrew, Amanda is also the co-founder of Church Farm General Store, which is a family run business manufacturing handmade food products and herbal infused bar soaps.

Samantha Gilmore

Samantha (Sam) is mama to Emilie and Lawson and wifey to Ross. She is situated in NSW where her family run a sheep and cattle stud farm. “I love the creative outlet my Instagram (@wearethegilmores) has given me and my amazing little community that has built up over the last few years,” she says.

Shannon Renee Rafaelli

Alena Turley is a Sydney-based mother of three, writer and ethical influencer. In 2009, she founded the pioneering ethical lifestyle blog, Soul Mamma out of a passion for earth-friendly, soulful parenting. Shahrzad Kahrobai

Shahrzad is the editor behind THESPOTBEAUTY, a digital destination of clean beauty, wellness and style. Founded in 2015, Shahrzad carefully curates inspiring content to educate and uplift her followers. Being passionate about organic and eco luxe beauty her motivation was to share her honest reviews about the latest and greatest in the clean beauty world. She has been on various Beauty Judging panels such as: The Beauty Shortlist Awards 2018/19, The Australian Hair Industry Awards 2019, as well as the Clean Cert Beauty Awards 2019.

Carla King-Turner

TV Presenter and Owner of Mooi + U Beauty, Carla’s Passion and Knowledge of the clean beauty industry has been shared with Australian Women for the last 20 years via TVSN and Social Media.  In 2020 Carla  launched her own online store Mooi + U which is a curated collection of luxury clean beauty brands, specialising in Australian, boutique brands covering, skincare, makeup and self care products.

Mikey Ayoubi

Mikey Ayoubi is a Creative Director who has worked in the world of Fashion as a Freelance fashion stylist, Fashion designer and Producer for the last 22 years. Mikey has contributed as fashion stylist to magazines like Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle and Museum and as creative Director to some of the biggest & best Australian brands like David Jones, Bonds, State of Escape and many more. As designer he worked alongside designers Akira Isogawa, Collette Dinnigan, Nicola Finetti and as Creative Director at Frost collective’s fashion brand. 

As stylist he has transformed the careers and style of Australian icons Jessica Mauboy, Yael Stone, Lara Worthington and up and coming singer songwriter Starley and made one of the biggest red carpet statements with Hilary Swank for the Melbourne cup.

Bonnie G

Bonnie G has worked as a hair and make-up artist in the Fashion and Film industry for over 15 years, Bonnie has presented make-up and hair demonstrations on stage at London Fashion week, worked for prestigious fashion houses, various TV shows both here and in the UK and on some amazing feature films including The Da Vinci Code. Bonnie was also appointed the personal beauty adviser to the Queen’s lady in waiting of Buckingham Palace.  Editor and founder of one of Australia’s best known beauty websites and creator of makeup brand Basics By B. Bonnie is based in Sydney where she lives with her husband and 2 kids.

Meet Corrine. Wife and mother of two little boys. Professional change maker and project implementer. Low tox advocate. Passionate about helping people.

Corrine created The Low Tox Project out of the need to change the toxic load in her family’s life.  Following a “light bulb” moment when she suddenly realised the amount of chemicals in her home, she started a Facebook group to discuss this journey with others. Petria Leggo-Field is the founder of Coco Rose Eco and the Coco Rose Community.  Petria is on a mission to build a well-informed community based around the earth-friendly movement and help female entrepreneurs of eco brands make a bigger impact, create exposure and make more sales.


Petria is also the weekly host of The Sustainable Shift Podcast, which I founded in 2020 and in addition also loves guest speaking and workshop facilitating about all things sustainable. Rosie Rees is a leading Sex & Relationship Coach, founder of crystal sex toy compay ‘Yoni Pleasure Palace’ and creator of the well-known three hour Women’s Nude Yoga workshop, ‘Naked Awakening’. She is a mother-to-be, marketing expert, and co-founder of Plastic Free Gold Coast where she works with the local community to reduce plastic consumption and waste, providing education and helpful resources. She’s always mindful of keeping sustainability accessible to all while also making sure she creates less waste and lives consciously with her family on the Gold Coast.

Phoebe Conway

I am Phoebe,  a qualified nutritionist who is  incredibly passionate about helping people find their way to wellness and health and improve their quality of life in whatever way they can. I completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition), an Advanced Diploma in Photography and I’m a practicing nutritionist, photographer and recipe developer based in Adelaide, South Australia.

I believe in teaching people about the ways in which our diet affects our health and helping people work towards better choices and reducing chronic disease. I also believe in working towards a more sustainable future for this beautiful planet we live on and believe the food we consume and how we produce it, directly affects the health of our planet. I live in the stunning Adelaide Hills and go to the gym most mornings and love taking my dog for big walks. I’m always experimenting in the kitchen and discovering more about nutrition and food!

Laura Trotta

Laura Trotta is one of Australia’s leading sustainable living educators and has won numerous regional and national awards for her fresh and inspiring take on living an ‘ecoceptional’ life. A passionate believer in addressing the small things to achieve big change, and protecting the planet in practical ways, Laura has inspired and educated thousands of men and women globally to adopt a greener lifestyle through her popular Eco Chat podcast, ABC radio segments and award-winning sustainable living programs Home Detox Boot Camp and Self Sufficiency in the Suburbs.

Fusing her professional expertise as an environmental engineer with the down-to-earth pragmatism that comes from being a busy mum, Laura is an eco thought leader who’s not afraid to challenge the status quo.

Emily Fletcher

Emily is both the Founder and Head of Research & Education of the Australian Non-Toxic Awards. She is a practising Optometrist, mother of two and Editor of popular website and consumer resource, My Non-Toxic Tribe. Emily has postgraduate qualifications in Pharmacology and has studied Advanced Chemistry at university. She initially founded the Awards in 2019 after identifying the need to celebrate and empower brands and small businesses that produce safe, non-toxic and socially responsible products.

Emma Freeman

You might recognise Emma as a member of the Awards Expert Panel in 2019. Emma is a freelance writer, content producer, certified yoga instructor and mother to two young boys.

She has worked with the ABC, EMI Music and  body+soul and writes for a number of wellbeing and parenting publications. In recent years has worked exclusively with socially responsible brands and small businesses. Emma joins Emily Fletcher in 2020 to manage the marketing & communications of the Australian Non-Toxic Awards.
