$5.50

Moxie tampons are made from 100% organic cotton, including cover layer, core and string and are wrapped in recyclable paper. They contain no synthetic fibres, plastics or chlorine bleach. Australian Certified Organic and Vegan Australia Certified. Moxie is female founded, owned and led.

Made from excellent, non-toxic materials. 100% Certified Organic cotton. Wrapped in recyclable paper. Vegan. Plastic free.
Moxie embeds ethical practice across its business through pay equity, full financial transparency and a flat hierarchy, with all management paid the same salary and this information openly shared. The brand works exclusively with supply partners meeting strict standards for social responsibility and ethical labour, with many manufacturing relationships spanning over 20 years and partners holding certifications such as ISO, OEKO-TEX®, BSCI and Fair Trade. Moxie’s organic cotton tampons are Australian Certified Organic and Vegan Australia Certified, with transparent communication of materials, certifications and manufacturing practices.
Moxie uses 100% organic cotton in its tampons, processed with hydrogen peroxide instead of chlorine bleach and wraps both tampons and pads in recyclable paper, eliminating single-use plastic wrappers. Manufacturing occurs in a family-owned Spanish facility powered entirely by hydro energy. All tampons are Australian Certified Organic, with suppliers holding GOTS certification. E-commerce orders are carbon neutral and shipped in recyclable or compostable packaging, with upcycled cardboard used as void fill. Blockchain traceability is also being piloted for supply chain transparency.
Moxie’s social responsibility efforts focus on menstrual equity through initiatives such as the 'Pads for Pads' program in Uganda, which has provided over 15,000 girls with reusable period kits made by local women, and ongoing partnerships in Australia with Share the Dignity and grassroots organisations to distribute essential period products. The brand also advances menstrual health literacy via educational content on TikTok and its blog and founder-led advocacy in schools and industry events to reduce stigma and promote menstrual equity.

Product Reviews by Experts

I loved the instructions in the box, very useful and it was easy to use. It had good absorbency. I have never been a fan of tampons and normally struggle without an applicator, but this did not cause any issue. The cotton cover layer made it slip in easily and it did not feel drying. I have not reacted to them which is a feat in itself as I normally react to all brands of tampons out there! (hence why I tend to not use them), I will totally add them to the list of recommendations when my client asks me about clean options – best tampon I have tried so far. What really stood out to me is the deliberate commercial decision to make their products the most affordable organic period care range on the Australian market, every single day, not just when they’re on promotion. Pair that with a flat hierarchy, full financial and ingredient transparency, and pay equity, and I honestly didn’t even know a business like this was possible. It completely blew me away. And to top it all off… they’re tackling period poverty, educating younger women, helping break the stigma around menstrual health, and constantly pushing the boundaries of sustainability. Their tampons are made in Spain, which gives me confidence in the labour standards behind the product, and are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, from cover to core to string, free from synthetic fibres, fragrances, pesticides, chlorine bleach, and unnecessary chemicals. They even developed a world-first machine that wraps products in recyclable paper rather than single-use plastic, preventing around 2.76 tonnes of plastic waste in the past 12 months alone. Honestly, I’m struggling to find something not to love about this female-led brand. They prove that a business can care deeply about its people, its community, and the planet without ever compromising on quality. Love, love, love. ❤️

The biggest things for me are that Moxie’s tampons are individually wrapped in paper, entirely made from organic cotton, fully plastic-free, and most importantly, I love that they’re absorbent and do their job – it’s so great to see how far tampon options have come! When comparing them to other organic cotton tampon brands I’ve used, I’m a big fan of the outer layer of the tampon, which I feel is more absorbent (I didn’t experience any leaks) and prevents any fibres from coming off the tampon. I love that these tampons are a healthier choice for my body and for the planet. Moxie’s organic cotton tampons are ACO certified and Vegan Australia Certified – two certifications I trust deeply. Perhaps what I’m most impressed by, though, is that these are the first tampons I’ve used that are 100% plastic-free, including the wrapper! It’s amazing to know that by using these tampons, I’m not contributing to any further plastic pollution. Moxie’s commitment to social responsibility and accessibility is really impressive, too – ensuring that it doesn’t have to be a luxury decision to purchase what’s best for our bodies and the environment.

I was happy with the number of tampons included in the box and liked that each one was individually wrapped. They felt secure and comfortable to wear, and were easy to insert and remove. They are also relatively large, which I believe makes them a good option for people with a heavier flow. I appreciate that the brand approaches sustainability not only from a broader environmental perspective, but also with a strong focus on women’s health and wellbeing.
