123 Nourish me – Chesty Rub Balm

The 123 Nourish me Chesty Rub Balm comes in a little glass jar and is a must have for winter colds and sniffles. The balm is soft and easy to apply. The smell is not too overpowering and the kids love it. I also love that the business supports the local community and uses glass for packaging where possible.

The balm is easy to spread once warmed up on fingertips. It didn’t feel sticky and absorbs really well into the skin. Beautiful scent, which I actually was able to use myself a few times since I ended up with a cold during testing and I can say it did help me to breathe better at night time while sleeping. I didn’t feel as congested as I normally would.

I love the packaging with the cute little monkey and the glass jar made it easy to use. It is great that it’s free from petroleum and turpentine; Huge win in my books! I love that this brand is Australian made and uses locally sourced organic ingredients. A huge plus in my book is that they are registered as cruelty free and do not test on animals. I also really like that they use glass products as much as they can and if not they use recyclable materials.

I love knowing there’s a beautifully produced locally made alternative to the big brand who makes a product with a similar function. I love the brand’s commitment to avoiding plastic – I’m sure it’s not easy and they have made a big effort to tackle that problem. I also love the glass jar and its potential for reuse!
