Sustainable Practices
Élucidé uses plastic-free, fully compostable packaging made from a biomaterial derived from bacterial fermentation, designed to biodegrade in home compost and return nutrients to soil. All paper boxes are FSC certified, constructed in a glueless origami structure and printed with vegetable-based inks by a B Corp certified printer using renewable energy. Batch production is used to minimise overproduction and waste and full lifecycle thinking is applied from raw material sourcing to compost return.
