Bella Vida has been Leaping Bunny certified as cruelty-free since its inception in 2019 and its manufacturers are also certified by Leaping Bunny. The brand only uses skincare products that are made in the USA to ensure that no child labour is being used. Bella Vida Santa Barbara uses clean and natural ingredients in all their formulas, many of which are also vegan.

Sustainable

Bella Vida is focused on sustainability, packaging their products in glass and using recycled paper for packaging. They offer zero waste refills on many of their products which are shipped in reusable silicone bottles, and donate 1% of profits to social good and non-profit organizations that protect oceans. They also ship carbon neutral and have planted over 130 trees in Africa to offset carbon emissions with the Eden Project. Two of their major manufacturers run on 100% wind and solar power.

Bella Vida donates 1% to Feeding America, contributes to non-profits that protect oceans like Oceana and works with the Eden Project to offset carbon emissions and provide sustainable jobs to low-income individuals in Africa. They work with LGBTQ influencers and support men and women who identify as transgender. Additionally, they donated over $1000 in goods to Clean Beauty Kit Gives Back to provide gifts to homeless women in the Bay Area of California during the holidays in 2022.

I fell in love with the delicious fragrance of this luxurious face oil. What a delight it is to apply, it feels luxe, but not heavy and my sensitive skin absolutely relished this face oil. This face oil has a lovely neroli and sweet orange scent and is rich in seed and plant oils with the added benefits of calendula extract. It deeply hydrates, leaving skin feeling nourished, making it a great choice for night-time use. I’m also impressed by this brand’s efforts to be sustainable and give back to society.

I absolutely loved the smell, its citrus orange smell was so beautiful and not overpowering, it just smelt luxe, like I was stepping out of a fancy spa treatment. The oil itself felt light on the skin and easily absorbed.
