All Biomama products are vegan and formulated in Australia to address ethical concerns such as animal testing and child labour. The brand uses locally sourced extracts and ensures that its products are both formulated and manufactured within Australia.
Biomama products are manufactured in Australia, minimising freight emissions and all extracts are locally sourced using green science principles for sustainability. The formulations consist of 100% naturally-derived and biodegradable ingredients, with small batch orders ensuring zero waste and product integrity. Packaging is also sourced from Australian suppliers, featuring 100% curbside recyclable product boxes made from uncoated recycled paper with eco-friendly Spot UV coating. Miron glass bottles, while heavier and impacting the environment, align with the goal of eliminating plastic, with plans for refill pouches in the future. PET labels are 100% recyclable and designed for easy disposal, although plastic and glass dropper caps could not be sourced locally and are not fully recyclable.
Biomama focuses on empowering women through skincare that promotes self-love, featuring sensual formulations, luxury packaging and pastel-free branding. The brand showcases diverse imagery of the female form during and after pregnancy to encourage respect for women's bodies. Committed to holistic health for mothers during pregnancy and postpartum, Biomama sources all products and packaging locally to support local businesses. Although currently unable to give back to the local community, the brand plans to partner with a charity supporting mothers in the postpartum phase when feasible.

Product Reviews by Experts

My first impression of this product was the beautiful scent, it smells absolutely amazing. After applying it, my skin felt deeply hydrated and incredibly smooth, without any oily or heavy residue. It’s lightweight, nourishing and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and soft. It’s definitely a product I’d happily incorporate into my everyday skincare routine. Even though this is a new brand, I find their mission of promoting empowerment and self-love through their products truly beautiful. As a mum growing a baby, it’s easy to feel disconnected from your body, but using something that reminds you of your inner beauty is incredibly powerful. I love that this product encourages mums to embrace and care for their changing bodies with kindness. The added focus on locally sourcing ingredients to support local businesses makes it even more meaningful, its a brand trying to create heart and promise which I like.

I really like the smell of this oil, how lovely my skin is left feeling after using it and how well it absorbs. I’m impressed that this product is made here in Australia with local extracts, that they are supporting other Aussie businesses by purchasing Aussie products/packaging and that the packaging/bottles are all recyclable apart from the lid/dropper.

The packaging on this product is absolutely beautiful. It feels thoughtful, luxe and full of personality- really special to unbox. The oil itself is also lovely, with a soft, grounding scent and a rich texture that feels nourishing on the skin. It definitely adds a sense of ritual to your routine. I really admire Biomama’s holistic approach to sustainability. From local sourcing and manufacturing to the use of small batch production and recyclable packaging, everything feels considered and intentional. The use of Miron glass, local extracts and the clear plan to introduce refill pouches shows commitment not just too doing better now, but continually improving. Their branding around empowerment and realistic postpartum imagery is also refreshing and meaningful.
