All hygiene liners are made with recycled kraft paper and hang tags are also made with recycled paper. The Carvico Vita fabric used is made with 78% Recycled Polyamide. This incredible fabric is known for helping clear our seas from plastics and ghost netting.
With every bikini or swimsuit piece created Bombshell Bay donates 10cents either to the ROLE Foundation or BALI WISE. ROLE Foundation runs a zero-waste facility along with environmental development programs in Bali. BALI WISE is a program supporting women’s business education and development.

What our experts say...

As soon as I touched this swimsuit, I could tell the quality was high. It felt soft yet durable. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my 2.5 year old daughter and I love that it’s been made from recycled materials from the swimsuit itself to its tags and hygiene liners, impressive! The manufacturer that Bombshell Bay has chosen to work with, goes ABOVE and BEYOND what I would expect from a Bali Factory. I am blown away that they were committed to finding a manufacturer that aligned with their own values and ethics.

This swimwear takes the award for cuteness factor!! I love the fabric and design of them – and so did my daughter! The fact they’re also made with recycled nets and waste is a huge win which would encourage me to purchase again. There has been a lot of time and attention placed into securing their manufacturers in Bali and I love that. Making sure their staff are taken care of with above industry pay is so good to hear.

My 7 year old daughter was absolutely thrilled with this costume and it has been worn many times in the pool already. It’s very sweet on, and she loves that it matches my own one piece so that we can twin! The fabric is strong and feels like it will really last. I truly appreciate that it is made from a sustainable material.
