Product Reviews by Experts

What I like most about The Alchemist Booty Balm is how effectively it calms irritated skin while feeling gentle and nourishing. It creates a smooth, protective barrier that helps prevent further discomfort. I love that its made from all natural ingredients so I can use it without worry. I can also appreciate that I was also able to use this for myself for postpartum haemorrhoids. It’s a nice addition to our daily routine. I’m genuinely impressed by The Alchemist’s use of clean, ethically sourced ingredients and their commitment to sustainable production. Their emphasis on natural formulations free from unnecessary additives show they prioritise both safety and environmental health. I also appreciate the minimalist packaging and the brands effort to reduce waste. Lastly, I love that the brand regularly donates to two charities!

The balm itself is soft and easily collected and spread from jar to skin. It looks textured in the jar but spreads smooth leaving a clear barrier with a subtle, oily feel making wiping easy and leaving the skin feeling moist. Booty Balm has a subtle yet natural, botanical smell which I really like. The packaging is small and easy to pack in a nappy bag as well as being recyclable or reusable. The multi-use of the product is great being for mum and bubs. I love that this product uses all natural ingredients sourced locally and that they have third-party testing. Supporting local and encouraging a fair workforce is inspiring. I also love that they share their waste with their chickens! I thought that was very cute and a great way to recycle. There is also great initiative shown in the ability for customers to have products refilled, reusing containers to avoid additional waste.

The small glass jar is super convenient for on-the-go use and the product has a lovely natural scent and feel. It’s a gentle, soothing balm that worked well on minor irritation. I’m impressed by their strong commitment to sustainability through plastic-free, recyclable packaging and ethical ingredient sourcing. Their community support and focus on gender equality in business are also worth celebrating.
