Bubnest – Organic Baby Nest

Made from excellent, non-toxic materials. Mattress: GOLS certified natural latex foam. Wadding: Organic Silk (Kapok) Cotton. Cover: GOTS certified organic cotton
Bubsnest Baby Nests are all manufactured by their superstar seamstresses in Brisbane, Australia. This ensures they get top quality products manufactured under fair trade conditions and provides flexible working opportunities for women that cannot find the right balance in the 'traditional' corporate world. GOLS and GOTS certification on their material requires fair working conditions throughout the entire production process which is very important to Bubsnest.
All Bubsnest materials are natural and sustainable. They use Organic latex, globally, all latex plantations together offset 90 million tons of CO² per year. Organic Silk Cotton: 100% free of harmful chemicals and toxins, when exposed to the correct conditions, Silk Cotton can return to nature by biodegradation in a matter of weeks. Organic cotton uses farming techniques that focus on soil and plant health, including crop rotation. They aim to be waste free and use all fabric off-cuts to make burp cloths and nursing pads. The smallest fabric pieces become mini scrunchies for toddlers. All packaging is free from plastic, they pack products in calico bags, and use biodegradable shipping bags. After use, people can send their Baby Nests back to Bubnest and they will wash, refurbish and donate to people in need.
Bubsnest delivers Baby Nests to homeless mothers and babies staying in the Young Womens Service, Anglicare Southern Queensland Homelessness Service. Giving babies a safe familiar place to rest wherever they stay. They also donate Nests to Mother’s in need including families during the 2020 bushfires and the 2022 floods. Their team sewed and donated pouches and wraps with their fabric for orphaned marsupials to help billions of injured animals during the 2020 bushfires. They plant one tree per order via OneTreePlanted and Greening Australia.

What our experts say...

It’s such a great size for my baby and seemed very comfortable. He seemed to stay cool and didn’t get a sweaty head like he usually does when he sleeps. The print is also so beautiful and vibrant. I appreciate all the support the brand has given to people in need, especially the people and animals affected by the bushfires. Living on the south coast, we were also affected by the bushfires so this is a cause close to my heart.

This baby nest uses the most beautiful designs and materials. I love that it is organic, so I feel confident using it for my little one. I have used other baby loungers and this is by far the highest quality materials I have seen and it is very long lasting. It is also my favourite item to take with me when we travel or even just to the park. My older children can play and I have extra comfort on hand for bub.

This product is beautifully designed, so stable and sturdy. The aesthetic and Indigenous design resonates with me as my babies are Indigenous too. Ngairri loves to snuggle in it too. Everything about this is wonderful and I love the variety of activities and charities that the brand works with.
