What our experts say...
I liked the nice eucalyptus subtle scent it had and it didn’t leave my skin feeling too oily at all. It has a nice size packaging and cute coloured labels. I also liked how deep the can is for plenty of product use. I love that this brand is Australian and Indigenous made and owned and that it supports and empowers Indigenous women. I also really appreciate the recyclable packaging and the reusable tins.

I love the smell and the botanicals in this balm are beautiful. It was also surprisingly moisturising, I thought based on the ingredients that it might be better as a balm for stings or bites, however this is truly a multi purpose balm. I happily put this balm on my eczema and was pleasantly surprised to find that it really calmed the itch. Love everything that Bush Medijina stands for. Empowering First Nations communities and sharing ancient knowledge and wisdom. What a fantastic social enterprise.
This balm smells amazing – just like the eucalyptus forest. It does provide relief on itchy insect bites when I use it and I love the fact that it has been created using traditional knowledge. Bush Medijina highly supports Indigenous owned and run community initiatives and using their products is a very small way I can support them. As someone who was brought up by a single mum, I understand the value of empowering women and equipping them with skills which makes them less dependent on others.
With a rich botanic tea tree and eucalyptus scent, I can’t help but rub this balm on my hands and stand for a minute with my hands to my face, inhaling deeply. You can feel the goodness – and as I stand there, my lungs open and my mind calms. These are powerful bush ingredients with proven healing properties. A first aid kit essential.
