Ethical
C*O*O*P’s bags are made from non-toxic materials, their fabric is purchased through Taiwan and their products are designed and manufactured locally in Victoria, with makers setting their own prices. The leather used for logos is waste and would likely have gone into landfill.
Sustainable
C*O*O*P bags are made from waste, removing that waste from landfill, to reduce the detrimental effect this will have on the environment. The enclosed pockets also help to lessen an individual's daily reliance on single use items as they include pockets for the main single use items we reach for every day, including a straw, utensils, coffee cup, water bottle, produce bags, and fold up shopping bags. Every product is selected with the aim of it being recycled, reclaimed, recyclable, sustainable, reusable, repairable or compostable. C*O*O*P’s packaging includes recycled kraft mailer boxes, kraft tape, tissue paper and stickers that are all reusable, recyclable or compostable. The brand also offers free repairs on the bags. They aim to recycle bags that cannot be repaired into another item.
Responsible
A percentage of every C*O*O*P sale will go towards planting trees with Greenfleet, a leading not-for-profit environmental organisation committed to protecting our climate by restoring our forests.
