Best Natural Hair Serum / Tonic 2026

$79.00

This Australian-made, fragrance-free scalp serum contains 1% Copper Tripeptide-3 (AHK-Cu) with specific affinity for hair follicle tissue, supported by MSM, Trehalose and Allantoin. It is vegan, cruelty-free, naturopath-formulated, packaged in Miron violet glass and produced in small batches.

Formulated with excellent clean ingredients. Vegan. Cruelty free. Oil free. Fragrance free. Synthetic preservative free. Silicone free. PEG free.
Nubeean Noosa formulates and produces all products in-house in the Noosa Hinterland with a small team working in a safe, respectful and collaborative environment. Every ingredient is sourced individually with direct supplier relationships, prioritising Australian-sourced ingredients and excluding those with known ethical concerns, including palm oil derivatives. Honey and beeswax are primarily from the brand’s own chemical-free hives, with additional beeswax only from local beekeepers meeting the same ethical standards. Full ingredient lists, including INCI names and concentrations for actives, are published for transparency. All products are cruelty-free and not tested on animals.
Nubeean Noosa produces in small batches to minimise overproduction and waste, operates from a home/small studio to keep its physical and energy footprint low and uses UV sterilisation where applicable. Ingredients such as honey and beeswax are harvested from chemical-free hives on the property and Centella asiatica is wild harvested locally. Packaging is primarily glass, with Miron violet glass for serums, no product boxes and all postal packaging is compostable. Beehives and a native garden support local biodiversity.
Nubeean Noosa actively supports local schools and community groups in the Noosa region through ongoing donations of skincare packs as prizes and gifts. The brand operates a free, drop-in holistic skincare clinic open to all community members, offering naturopath-informed advice without cost or obligation. They also provide extensive ingredient education through blog articles and social media and mentor others in the industry by openly sharing formulation knowledge.

Product Reviews by Experts

As someone who’s been noticing some hair thinning above my temples in recent years, this is a very exciting hair serum. I love the clean formulation, and what I noticed (but didn’t expect) is that even though the thickness of the formulation is somewhere between water and gel, it seamlessly blends into my hair and scalp once it’s dried – it’s like it’s not even there! I thought it would make my scalp greasy, but it didn’t. I also love that the product is thoughtfully packaged in protective violet glass. I know it might take some time to see results, but I’m looking forward to experiencing any difference it makes to my hair. I love that this product is made in small batches in-house by the naturopath founder, is cruelty-free, and that the brand is transparent about each ingredient – publishing full ingredient lists and concentrations, so I can understand the purpose of each ingredient. Reducing waste is important to me, so I love that it’s packaged responsibly and minimally to protect the integrity of the formulation and to eliminate any unnecessary packaging waste.

Before trying this serum, I had no idea about the role copper peptides play in healthy hair growth, or how they naturally decline as we age. As someone in the early stages of perimenopause and experiencing some hair thinning, I was fascinated to learn more about the science while putting it to the test. What I love most is how lightweight it feels. It massages easily into the scalp, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue behind. I also appreciate that a little goes a long way – one pump is all that’s needed. Knowing it has been formulated as a cleaner alternative to many conventional copper peptide products made the experience even more appealing. I’m looking forward to seeing the longer-term results. What impressed me most about Nubeean Noosa is the care and attention that extends to every aspect of the business. From their refill options, compostable packaging and ethical ingredient sourcing to their free community skincare clinic and commitment to education, there is a strong desire to make a difference.

I really appreciate the simplicity of this formula, with just eight thoughtfully selected ingredients and no added fragrance. The serum feels lightweight on the scalp and the spray applicator makes it easy to dispense the product precisely where it’s needed. I particularly admire the founder’s commitment to sharing knowledge through a free naturopath-led skincare clinic and extensive ingredient education, making expert advice genuinely accessible to the community – what an incredible and unique thing to do. I’m wildly impressed (and jealous) that they have their own chemical-free beehives to source honey and beeswax from and their commitment to ethical beekeeping. Yay for the bees!
