Sustainable
Edible Beauty Australia aims to use recyclable and biodegradable packaging for their skincare, tea and wellness products. The majority of the brand's skincare is packaged in glass. Products not packaged in glass, along with parts such as pumps and caps that cannot be collected in local council recycling bins, can be recycled through Terra Cycle, their global recycling partner. Edible Beauty Australia also uses recycled and sustainable fibre packaging for their products that is 100% recyclable. In addition, the brand uses recyclable mailers that are filled with bio-fill, packaging "foam" that is made of 100% biodegradable cellulose starch.
Responsible
Edible Beauty Australia partners with other sustainable companies to encourage creative "up-cycling" of their empty skincare bottles and tea jars, and share content that inspires everyone to minimise their individual carbon footprint. Customers are able to choose which charitable project $1 from each order placed goes. Current projects they support via the 1-change platform include Protecting Women, Saving our Reef and Feeding Aussies in Crisis. The brand donates both products and funds to indigenous communities and recently planted over 1000 trees as part of a "tree support" month with one tree planted for every order placed in the month of May. In addition, the brand has been involved in fundraising for the Australia bushfire crisis.

What our experts say...

There’s a cooling, soothing experience to using this super hydrator that makes it a real delight to apply. Creamy enough to leave on as a moisturiser but rich enough to use as a mask (as instructed). Great barrier protection in a cold or windy climate. The scent is a delight too – rose geranium – nurturing, feminine and lovely. The brand’s social responsibility statement is thorough, considered and commendable.

This cream feels very luxurious to use. It smells lovely and absorbs well into the skin leaving it feeling plum and smooth. It’s great to read that Edible Beauty has a strong focus on supporting charities. I especially like that customers can choose which project the donation from their order can go to as I think this helps individuals to think more about also supporting charities.

A wonderfully buttery night cream that can also be used as an intensive face mask. Despite being slightly heavy, my skin happily absorbs it and it works well when applied over a serum and toner. Looking forward to using it long term to discover long lasting results. I’m a big fan of the heartfelt ethos of this brand and their commitment to being sustainable and reducing waste.

Richly nourishing and smelling absolutely divine, this gorgeous cream is ultra hydrating and protective. I love applying it as a mask a couple of times a week, especially in winter, as I find it really softens and smooths the look of fine lines.
