FabPatch is a high-quality, rub-on textile repair solution for garments and gear. It applies in seconds, restoring and strengthening fabrics. Designed for adventures, it turns wear and tear into character. Sustainable and simple, FabPatch promotes repair over replacement.

Made from recycled polyester and solvent free adhesive.
FabPatch is produced in Finland, where PET bottle waste is transformed into pellets and yarn in China, with the patch fabric crafted from this yarn in Türkiye. The brand focuses on researching alternative responsible materials and intends to eventually use fully domestic textile sources in Finland to minimise transportation emissions, with a long-term goal of establishing manufacturing in Australia. FabPatch employs recycled polyester certified by the Global Recycle Standard, ensuring verified recycled content and adherence to stringent social, environmental and chemical practices. The materials used are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and OEKO-TEX SE10-194 RISE certified. FabPatch follows the International Labour Organisation's Code of Conduct for fair labour practices in its value chain and is banking with Bank Australia, which is carbon neutral and committed to not financing fossil fuel projects, aiming for Net Zero by 2035.
FabPatch is dedicated to transparent sustainability practices by providing detailed reports and engaging with stakeholders on their environmental impact. The brand's adherence to the REACH regulation ensures that their adhesives are free from substances posing health or environmental risks. Their packaging materials, certified with the EU Ecolabel, meet strict environmental standards. FabPatch prioritises recycled materials, utilising 83.7% recycled textile fibres in 2022 and specifically using recycled polyester from PET bottle waste. Their solvent-free adhesives minimise health risks and environmental impact. Additionally, their digital printing technology consumes less water and energy, further reducing their ecological footprint. FabPatch designs patches to preserve the recyclability of the textiles they are applied to, facilitating easier recycling processes.
FabPatch is dedicated to promoting a culture of repair and circular design by providing accessible solutions for textile repair, empowering individuals to extend garment life and reduce waste. The founder, Sophie, contributes to the Seamless Taxonomy Working Group to establish R-Strategies for Australia's clothing collection and recycling system. The brand advocates for repair culture through community engagement, supporting initiatives like Global Mend in Public Day and partnering with regional councils to enhance mending events. Collaborations with academic institutions foster research on clothing longevity, with participation in discussions on consumer habits at industry events. The brand also uses social media to raise awareness on various key issues and emphasises social responsibility in its operations, driving meaningful change in textile value and repair.
