The brand crafts its products by hand, has Vegan Australia certification and is awaiting approval from PETA for vegan and cruelty-free certification. Fineau Basics is also awaiting approval for Palm Free certification by the Orangutan Alliance and Choose Cruelty-Free International's Leaping Bunny Program. Sustainable

Fineau focuses on sustainability in their product development by researching and formulating products with mild, clean and green ingredients that are gentle to both the body and the planet. Their multi-purpose formulations can save water while also being effective. They package their products in biodegradable and plantable refill packs and their aluminium bottles with sifters eliminate plastic generation at the source and can be infinitely recycled. They also use cloth bags and 100% recycled shipping materials, and are partnered with One Tree Planted to allow customers to select where trees are planted with their purchase.

Responsible

Fineau is a brand that takes the planet crisis as a humanity crisis and is heavily focused on its social responsibility efforts. It has planted an estimated 50,000 mangroves in the Philippines, benefiting the local community and wetlands and providing a breeding ground for marine species while holding up the natural soil structure and providing a natural barrier for the community from storm surges. The brand is planning to replicate this effort in Kiribati and is also supporting orphanages, cancer research and local school community fundraisers. It is also in discussions to partner with Doctor Without Borders. The brand is also working towards a partnership with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.
