The Organic Neighbours Blend Coffee from Honest to Goodness is the first product to carry the internal Fair Fare certification that requires ethical and sustainable sourcing. The coffee, which is sourced from organic farms in Timor Leste, Sumatra and Papua New Guinea, is locally roasted in Sydney and 100% of the profits are donated to Project Timor, which provides education and nourishment to young women in the community of Maliana. The brand follows strict sourcing policies to ensure no child labour and values long-lasting relationships with like-minded growers and suppliers. The coffee is ACO certified, meaning it is truly organic.

Sustainable

The brand has been B-Corp certified since 2015 and committed to NetZero by 2030. They sell products in bulk to encourage refills and use recyclable packaging, including resealable paper for flours, reusable containers for liquids, BPA-free tins and biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable paper void in shipping boxes instead of plastic/bubble wrap. They also reuse shipping boxes and support recycling of all on-site plastic and cardboard. Damaged goods are given to staff rather than discarded.

Honest to Goodness donates 100% of the profits generated by its Organic Neighbours Blend Coffee to Project Timor. This project provides quality education and nourishment to young women in the community of Maliana, Timor Leste, to help them build a sustainable and better future. Project Timor comprises three initiatives: a Food for Thought Program, Colegio Scholarship Program and Creating a Teacher Professional Learning Centre. Honest to Goodness is committed to social and environmental responsibility and sources products from suppliers who produce their goods ethically and sustainably, with many supporting their local communities.

As soon as I opened the bag there was an amazing aroma. Really tasty blend, rich in flavour, had a nice lingering aftertaste.The packaging is nice and bright, feels fun and would stand out amongst competitor brands. A great coffee to wake up to in the morning! Clean ingredients and I love that they are ethically sourced.

I love that they donate excess but still edible waste to Ozharvest and also give their staff damaged goods instead of discarding them into waste.
