They have also taken steps to reduce their carbon footprint through energy conservation and transportation measures, and Kip&Co is a carbon-neutral organization. Additionally, 99% of their supply of goods and services for each mattress is sourced from Australia, making their mattress's carbon footprint the lowest in Australia.

Kip & Co is one of the few Australian-based mattress manufacturers that sources materials locally and works in partnership with suppliers to ensure the industry's sustainability in terms of skill development, material and resource usage, and environmental impact. The brand aims to create durable products that reduce unnecessary demand for mattresses resulting from substandard materials. They recruit unskilled employees and provide opportunities to acquire new skills and become the next generation of mattress artisans. Additionally, Kip & Co works with selected individuals and causes to ensure those in need receive a mattress.

This is one serious good night’s sleep – the most comfortable mattress. So soft and dreamy and with a beautiful, fun, magical woven design on the outside! I also appreciate that this mattress is Australian sourced and made.

It’s amazing watching this mattress inflate from a relatively small box into full size, right in front of your eyes! I love that this mattress is made in Australia. The mattress is low VOC and doesn’t smell, which is excellent health wise and a relief for those of us, like me, who are sensitive to these things. Mattresses require a large volume of resources to create and so I really appreciate that 82% of this mattress is made from recycled polyester and isn’t a virgin resource. Super enjoyable to lie on, the mattress strikes a great balance of back support and cosy comfort!
