Product Reviews by Experts

I had lot’s of tiny paper-cuts on my hand when I used this hand wash. It’s a testament to how gentle the soap is that none of the cuts stung. It removes grease and dirt without drying out my skin, which is really lovely in the coldest part of winter. It’s an example of a small business who wants to engrain sustainability and ethical considerations from the start. Working with native Australian ingredients is a really great way to minimise carbon footprints and using plastic recovered from the ocean is a step towards creating a circular economy which we need to make the recycling program a success.

I like that this hand wash cleans effectively and is gentle on the skin. It leaves my hands feeling super soft! The natural scent isn’t overwhelming either. It’s good that Earth Clear uses 100% pure Australian essential oils and non-toxic ingredients and that they support ocean cleanup through partnerships like OWP and the ReSea Project for packaging. The fact that their bottles are made from recycled plastic and are greywater-safe, shows efforts and commitment across formula, packaging and sourcing.

Earth Clear Lemon Myrtle Hand wash is nourishing but effective at cleansing your hands, leaving your skin clean but never dried out. The soap is beautifully scented- lemon always smells clean to me, while myrtle is earthy and grounding. I’m impressed by Earth Clear’s offering natural, organic, non-toxic and biodegradable products. The fact that they use traceable Australian essential oils and botanicals from local farms is definitely a bonus in my books!
