Mayde Tea – Drinking Chocolate

I wouldn’t change a thing about this Naturopath created and ethically sourced raw cacao blend, which has become a much loved favourite by both the adults and children in my household. The rich brown granules are housed in a stunning amber glass jar, which can be refilled from the pouches the brand provides.

I am impressed by Mayde Tea’s sustainability efforts, such as using a solar powered facility for manufacturing. It is also wonderful to learn the brand donates to Greenfleet, to plant native forests in Australia and New Zealand.

Drinking this hot chocolate is like taking a warm bath – it’s super comforting! Unlike other drinking cacao products, it isn’t bitter or too intense, despite containing high-grade cacao and no added sugar. I love the included ingredients of vanilla and sea salt. It also tastes great added to smoothies!

I really value that the cacao has been ethically sourced and the brand’s commitment to being wholly sustainable. I also really appreciate the brand’s commitment to giving back to society.

Packaging was sold the moment I saw it! However the flavour, taste and ease of making this scrummy drink was what was the real winner for me! I love cocoa and they have formulated a drinking chocolate that is delicious. I appreciate that this is made from organic, ethically sourced ingredients. It is also a win that it offers refill pouches for all of its blends!
