Nature Mail is a monthly nature-play activity box for children aged 3–9. Each box includes four unique activities with all materials provided, a gentle mindfulness script for children and seeds to grow in the garden.
Clean Ingredients / Materials
Made from excellent, non-toxic materials. 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard box, recycled paper, spray-free non-GMO seeds, locally sourced natural and reusable materials. Plastic free. Compostable and recyclable packaging.
Ethical Practices
The Wild Exchange uses 100% post-consumer recycled packaging and printing, all housed in Australia. Spray-free and non-GMO seeds are included in every box. Consumable resources such as clay, glue and Earth paints are purchased in bulk to minimise plastic packaging and are distributed into glass bottles, aluminium tins, kraft paper resealable pouches, or organic cotton drawstring bags. Fabrics are sourced from the scraps of a seamstress and all glues, paints and clays are non-toxic.
Sustainable Practices
The Wild Exchange incorporates sustainability by including activity instruction cards in every activity pouch that feature interesting facts about nature and thought-provoking questions. These cards are designed by an Ecotherapist (and Play Therapist in training) to teach children and families experientially about how nature can support wellbeing and encourage care for nature.
Social Impact
The Wild Exchange operates in-person nature play classes and community events using a 'pay-what-you-can' pricing structure with multiple price points, allowing participants to help direct profits after expenses. Profits fund community events that must support local environmental health, involve children meaningfully, and teach skills for ongoing environmental care. Past initiatives include a permaculture 'grow your own' event, a flower essence medicine workshop, a $700 fundraiser for Sunny Kids and a community market day.

This was my favourite product of all the products I received. The concept alone is so clever and engaging for kids. And then the execution of it is so well done and so incredibly thoughtful. So much effort and time and care has gone into these little packages. My daughter was entertained and enthralled for two hours going through each little kit. I helped her a little with the set up but she did the rest. Amazing! Well Done! I’m obsessed with everything this brand does. This goes beyond the obvious ways of being a conscious brand and good product and takes it to another level. I loved how it came so beautifully packaged. The box itself was stunning! Then getting to open up all of the different bags with my 3 children and doing each activity was a real treat. The concept and execution was delivered so well. As a homeschooling family it made learning such a breeze with the information that was provided with each activity as well as the gorgeous activities themselves. The instructions were easy to read and there was minimal prep time with each activity. I also loved that everything involved was low waste and low tox. It was a dream product. Well done The Wild Exchange. When listening to the video prior to starting the activities I was thrilled to learn about how this company focuses on low waste. Such as fabric scraps and dried flowers that would have otherwise been thrown out. Also, their big focus on using non toxic products within the kits so that it is truly safe for our little ones. The products truly do connect you more deeply to nature and really made us all think about it on a different level. It was beautiful to have my children be curious and ask further questions about the facts provided on the cards with each activity. I honestly wish we had the Wild Exchange classes near us as it sounds amazing to experience these types of products and activities in a supported team environment. I also really love the idea behind ‘pay what you can’ for these classes as it makes it much more achievable for families.
