Nina’s Bees – Eye Balm

Don’t be deceived by its cuteness, this little pot packs a punch of hydration with its easy to absorb consistency. As a balm, I just love the way this melts into skin, I even used it to melt away my makeup as part of my nighttime routine. I love the use of propolis, which leaves my skin feeling moisturised and toned. This is the perfect handbag size for when you want to apply on the run! The balmy consistency also doubled up as a sheer highlighter when worn on high points of the face.

As a small family run brand Nina’s bees is making tracks in their local community and helping her mission reach further with these lovely products. I also love the small batch feels and her commitment to contributing to local schools and community groups to raise awareness about the essential role of bees!

I really liked this product because it was quite different to anything I have used before, it’s a cute little compact tin and the product felt very nourishing on the skin without being too thick or oily. I felt that it worked very well in nourishing my eye area and making me feel hydrated and soft in such a delicate area!

I love the whole concept behind the brand being a family run beekeeping business without the use of pesticides. I was also impressed that they allow their colonies to build their own comb and determine their own population dynamics, including the mix of sexes – really the bees are being treated with care and respect, which I found beautiful and impressive!
