No Pong – Bicarb Free

This natural deodorant has the smoothest, creamiest texture of them all thanks to coconut oil bang at the top of the ingredient list. It felt more like a body balm than a traditional natural deodorant paste. However, it worked like a deodorant, keeping me body-odor free all day. It’s also bicarb-free, so those with very sensitive skin for whom bicarb burns, can rest easy. Overall, it was a pleasure to use with just the subtlest fresh citrus scent. It washed off my hands easiest of all the non-stick deodorants I tried and did what it literally said on the tin!

I like that they’re doing a brand audit to figure out how to become carbon neutral instead of guessing at it. It’s good to have an official path to achieving something like this. They also use 100% recyclable and biodegradable mailers. Plus their pots are aluminium, which is highly recyclable and indeed, repurposable. It sounds like the brand is also doing some good work in Timor Leste to reduce and reuse plastic waste, which while not directly related to the product, is a good initiative nonetheless!

Fantastic creamy deodorant in a really easy to use tin. Goes on well, works all day and has a subtle smell that’s really nice! I also like that this brand has lots of planet and people focussed initiatives.
