Formulated with excellent clean, mostly organic ingredients, including organic coconut oil, shea and cocoa butter and vanilla.

Ethical

Nourished Skin Co uses certified organic ingredients and ensures their ethical sourcing by communicating and monitoring suppliers. They do not use Palm oil or its derivatives. The products are handmade on the Mornington Peninsula and the formulas created by the company are approved by an independent chemist.

Sustainable

Nourished Skin Co’s lip balm tube, wholesale dispensing box, and shopping bags are 100% biodegradable. Their mailing boxes are recycled and their mailing satchels are compostable. The brand also uses 100% recycled hex paper for wrapping.

Responsible

Nourished Skin Co plans to donate one tree to local conservation group Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation for every $200 of online orders starting in January 2023. The brand has already donated over 50 trees to the program and will likely donate over 300 by the end of this year. They also contribute to local Indigenous charities and participate in sustainable events such as Earth Day Sustainable Market, where proceeds go to Earth Day charities. Founder Kate has studied Environmental Management and Native Animal Conservation and is passionate about conservation and environmental responsibility in her business.

Lip smackingly good treat for the lips – just try to not lick it off! The whole family had this on high rotation with its pleasant coconut scent that glides over these dry braces wearing lips to add comfort and long lasting hydration. Just the perfect handbag size, this is a winter essential. Deep hydration all round!

This is a lovely lip balm to use. It goes on smoothly with a warm, subtly sweet scent thanks to the coconut, cacao butter and vanilla. There’s no pull, no grit and it lasts for ages! The biodegradable paper tube is a huge bonus because there’s no plastic waste and you get double the normal amount of balm in one go, meaning you get twice the balm with half the packaging waste. It’s like a warm hug of a lip balm on cold winter days in Sydney.

I also like that they use biodegradable and compostable packaging, including their mailers and are working with a local foundation to plant a tree for every $200 spent with the brand starting this year. They’re also made locally.

This lip balm felt nice while applying it to the lips and the packaging is really nice/pretty. We also liked that everything is 100% compostable. The idea of donating trees for local conservation is a great cause as well, so that is really appreciated.
