Product Reviews by Experts

Oh, the sweet scent of summer- captured in the prettiest paper jar! This body balm radiates authenticity, made with simple organic ingredients thoughtfully formulated to perfection. It melts effortlessly into the skin, leaving it soft and delicately scented. The zero-waste, earth-friendly packaging is as practical as it is beautiful- easy to toss in your bag, with a scent for every season. I’m also genuinely impressed by this brand’s commitment to kindness- towards our bodies, people and the planet. Every product is certified organic, with full ingredient traceability that builds real trust. Their use of home-compostable and lightweight packaging shows a thoughtful approach to sustainability, aiming to reduce waste and carbon impact. What truly stands out is their heart: giving a minimum of 2% of revenue to support people in need.

My first impression when this product arrived was it was packaged with such love and care, which really caught my eye- A really lovely touch! The cardboard packaging is one of my favourites, the colours are natural which aligns with the brand and I love that. The balm has a really nice scent, the blend of oils was really enjoyable, the balm itself went on really smoothly, left a little residue but mostly absorbed nicely into the skin which is perfect for our drying winter conditions here. I love that they use certified organic ingredients and home compostable packaging, small little steps to make the world a better place. I also love that they support local charities, including Women’s Refuge Runway for Refuge in 2023 and 2024), Taranaki Hospice, Organic NZ and Sustainable Taranaki. A great brand to get behind!

The scent on this one is beautiful. I really liked the mix of Roman chamomile, lavender and palmarosa. The camellia oil makes it glide on easily and it’s not as heavy as other balms. The packaging is a standout. Clear, functional and just really well done! Everkind have gone all in on home compostable packaging, certified organic ingredients and full traceability. They’re also giving back through community support and charity work, which shows they’re values-driven in every sense.
