Ethical Practices
Organyc® is certified organic by ICEA and manufactured in Italy. Its products are free from perfumes, dyes, chlorine bleach, colours, wood pulp and super absorbent polymers (SAPs). In 2023, the brand had its pads and tampons independently tested for PFAS chemicals at European labouratories, confirming no presence of chemicals or metals. The brand does not conduct animal testing and upholds values of authenticity, honesty and integrity. Furthermore, they hold Vegan OK accreditation and participate in the Plastics for Change initiative for recycling their packaging.
Sustainable Practices
Organyc is certified organic by ICEA, utilising 100% certified organic cotton that meets GOTS standards and ensures environmental compliance throughout the supply chain. All products are made with organic cotton both inside and out and the brand avoids genetically modified ingredients as well as synthetic colours, dyes, fragrances, chlorine bleach, wood pulp and SAPs. The pads feature a backing of biodegradable corn starch and packaging is made from recycled cardboard with biodegradable inks and dyes. Organyc supports the Plastics for Change initiative to empower women collecting plastic and is beginning a blockchain project to trace the origins of its organic cotton. Its manufacturing facility incorporates recycled aluminum, wool insulation, solar panels and geothermal systems for sustainability, while the office employs recycled paper and emphasises digital documentation and employee sustainability training.
