This mat is genius and I love the look and feel of it! This is great to use on the reformer bed instead of my towel that I used to bring (which would slip everywhere). It’s easy to keep clean (a warm water wipe-down or machine washable!) and it feels steady and supportive. Using renewable cork for this product is already a sustainable choice, as its harvested without damaging trees. I also love that this pilates mat is completely recyclable or biodegradable- well done!
I love my reformer mat! The cork not only looks beautiful and keeps me on a gorgeous and hygienic surface for my workouts, but it stops me slipping against the vinyl of the reformer bed. I find when using the mat, there’s much less pressure on my shoulders doing squats as it helps my back grip where it’s meant to. I can’t imagine doing a reformer class without it anymore, it’s become an essential!
I love using my own mat for reformer’s and especially loved the renewable cork used on this mat. It felt natural and grippy but not heavy at all.
