A fragrance-free oil cleanser designed to effectively remove makeup, sunscreen and daily impurities. Its gentle massage-in, wipe-off formula leaves skin dewy and soft, without stripping or drying it out. Made from natural plant oils, it purifies and strengthens the skin’s natural defense barrier, making it ideal for those with eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis or very dry skin.

Clean
Formulated with excellent clean ingredients, including jojoba and sunflower seed oils.
Ethical
QED Skincare products and custom scents are formulated with safe, effective, plant-based, natural ingredients, free of parabens, sulphates and formaldehyde, all of which are suitable for vegans. The brand sources its ingredients from Choose Cruelty-Free audited suppliers, and Australian-grown ingredients are used where possible. They also establish personal relationships with the growers. Common fillers are excluded from any QED product and products are manufactured and packaged in-house in small batches in Sydney to ensure consistency of quality. The brand focuses on using quality, natural ingredients from reputable suppliers and does not use organic ingredients as organic products would be too expensive for many of its core customers.
Sustainable
QED Skincare uses pure, biodegradable plant oils and avoids palm oil and microbeads in its products. The brand sources ingredients from a Sydney-based distributor, hand-manufactures them in Bondi Junction and ships them out locally. The brand has also audited its packaging processes to minimize its packaging footprint while delivering undamaged products to customers. QED Skincare avoids mixed materials in packaging, and only uses glass, aluminium, or easily recyclable PET. They also gift-wrap in cotton reusable bags and use compostable mailers for delivery.
Responsible
QED Skincare prioritises social responsibility and supports women and children through various initiatives. The brand has initiated programs and supported organizations such as the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation, The Cancer Council and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. QED Skincare provides free treatment vouchers and gift baskets to local schools and charities and sends free products to conventions for parents of children with chronic illnesses to give them self-care. The brand also donates $1 from every sale to charities supporting cancer patients, protecting women, and promoting mental health through its partnership with i=change.

Review

An exceptionally light cleansing solution perfect for those that typically wouldn’t reach for an oil. Its blend of nutrient-dense, potent oils make it a great choice for even the most delicate skin types. It’s effective but never irritating – a delightfully gentle formula!

The decision to also do things by hand and in small batches allows the brand to communicate with their customers in a really authentic, transparent way which I think is not only commendable, but something consumers are really drawn to right now!

As someone with sensitive skin prone to redness I absolutely loved this cleansing oil. It did a great job of removing makeup and sunscreen while leaving my skin feeling nice and not irritated at all. It’s unscented which is great for people with reactive skin. It’s also great to see that the brand donates $1 from each sale to charity and is continuing to make their brand more sustainable!

You can feel that this product is great for sensitive, dry skin. There is little to no smell and it feels like a lovely comforting oil that won’t irritate or cause any issues. It would work well for a range of skin types and leaves skin feeling very soft but not too sticky. I think buyers would be impressed that it has been formulated by a pharmacist!

The brand also seems to have put a lot of thought into giving back to the community. They have an impressive scope of charitable initiatives!
