Ethical
All of Strandatory’s non-toxic ingredients have been selected to be effective and natural. Their dry shampoo is Vegan certified with veganaustralia.org.au.
Sustainable
Strandatory ensured they had a non-aerosol delivery of the dry shampoo working through many designs to find not only a non-aerosol option but also a way to deliver straight to the root of the hair, which meant minimal amount of loss of product or mess and a longer lasting product. The brand uses cardboard for all their packaging and items that can be recycled. The product tub itself is plastic and recyclable, except for the sponge on the top which would have to be removed. The brand is currently working on ways around this.
Responsible
Strandatory has been with "Know your Knockers" for the past couple of years, which is an Australian breast cancer pocket guide. The brand offers a 20% discount in their booklet. Strandatory have also had talks with the Cancer Council to discuss opportunities to be able to purchase wigs for breast cancer patients to put in their "library" of wigs from some of the proceeds of the sale of Strandatory. This is still in discussion at the moment, however they hope to have this up and running later this year.

This is the BEST natural dry shampoo I have ever used! I put it to the ultimate test by dabbing it onto my hair after a workout. While my hair wasn’t sweaty, my roots were oilier but this absorbed any excess oil and my hair looked clean and healthy. The applicator allows you to place the product exactly where you need it and it gave my hair 3 extra days of life before I had to wash it, which is unheard of for me! I also love there is no white cast and it doubled as a root touch up to hide my greys in between colours (an essential especially during lockdown!)

This is an incredible product which works better than any dry shampoo I’ve used before. It’s not messy, is quick to apply, portable and lasts the day. With a mixed clay and tapioca base, it is very effective and yet doesn’t irritate the scalp like bicarb-based natural dry shampoos can.
