Totem Eco – Australian Natural Deodorant – White Cypress

White Cypress from Totem Eco is really easy to apply and works super well. One of the fabulous things about this product is the unique smell that is suitable for a wide variety of users and is a wonderful alternative to the floral scents often used. This is a great product that lasted all day long! Totem Eco has an excellent understanding of sustainability and brand awareness when it comes to low tox needs and responsibility to your customers!

The texture, the scent and the staying power were all outstanding with this formulation. The lack of baking soda was nice too, as that often burns my skin when it’s in natural deodorants. Just a small dot of deodorant under each arm held off body odor through a hard workout. It goes on easy and smells almost peppery. This one would be great for men and also dries down on women for a really warm, subtly spicy scent. The aluminium pot is a nice change from plastic tube or pot. Overall it was my favourite formulation of all and I will use this and the White Cypress pots until they are finished. I like that they are a small family-run business that includes their children in the conversation about being socially responsible and environmentally friendly. Their ingredient supply chain is also 100% Australian, which helps reduce their carbon footprint.

I love the subtle yet effective scent of this deodorant, the product applies really nicely against my skin and is easy to use. I also like that when it blends it doesn’t leave a sticky residue or feeling on my body. I love that the brand is so knowledgeable and has clearly done their research on how to conserve the Australian environment and recycle wherever possible, including rainwater and monitoring their harvesting practices. I also love that the product is all locally sourced in Australia and that they use organic ingredients when they can.
