First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® hand crafts its products in Auckland using native New Zealand plants, with only very small amounts used in preparation and following ancient sacred protocols in full co-operation with the plant kingdom. All products are 100% natural, vegan, cruelty free and contain no harmful chemicals. The team is diverse in ethnicity and gender and the brand strives to create a respectful and supportive working environment based on co-operation and inclusivity.
Sustainable Practices
First Light Flower Essences creates flower essences from native New Zealand plants using only very small amounts and following ancient sacred protocols to ensure no harm to the environment. Products are packaged, where possible, in recyclable amber glass bottles and recyclable boxes, with minimal labels and packaging. Mostly recyclable packaging material is used for postage. The brand is reviewing processes, suppliers and components to further improve sustainability and aims to apply for B-Corp Certification in the future.
Social Impact
First Light Flower Essences has supported community wellbeing through initiatives such as donating thousands of Crisis Support© flower essence bottles to people and animals affected by natural disasters in New Zealand and internationally, running awareness programs and donating a percentage of sales to Trees That Count, offering free or donation-based flower essence consultations through practitioners and hosting educational community events and online clinics to increase access to holistic support and foster community connections.
