Sustainable

Australia is one of the highest producers of paper waste in the world, with over 10 million tonnes of paper and cardboard being produced annually, most of which ends up in landfills. Paper & Bloom is committed to making a positive environmental impact by supporting local businesses, using 100% recycled paper for their seeded paper products and using plant-based and recycled materials for their packaging to reduce single-use plastics. They also reuse scraps and trial cards to make thank you cards and confetti.

Paper & Bloom produces plantable cards made from 100% recycled paper collected from local organizations, businesses and schools. The cards are currently distributed by over 40 stores in Australia. The brand also works with different organizations to help them switch to eco-friendly stationery and participates in local markets and expos to raise awareness about plantable cards. As part of a rebranding effort in 2023, Turquoise Creative plans to donate 1% of every purchase to either the Foundation for National Park and Wildlife or the Ween Bee foundation.
