This All Purpose Balm protects and nourishes baby’s skin, preventing dryness and soothing chapped areas. Its natural formulation includes organic plant oils, waxes and extracts of Calendula and Millet. Convenient for on-the-go, it restores the skin’s barrier function.

Clean

Formulated from excellent non-toxic, mostly organic or biodynamic ingredients. Contains organic organic cocoa seed butter, avocado oil and organic calendula flower extract.

Ethical

Weleda prioritises the use of quality natural raw materials through organic cultivation across 248 Km square worldwide, aiming to improve soil health and conserve biodiversity. Weleda has achieved the ‘Sourcing with Respect’ Union for Ethical BioTrade (UEBT) label and NATRUE certification for all natural skincare products, providing assurance of high production and procurement standards. Weleda's sustainability commitment includes fair conditions for all partners and funding education and facilities for small rural areas.

Sustainable

Weleda uses more than 80% of botanicals from organic farming and has obtained UEBT certification for sourcing with respect. Weleda also has the largest medicinal plant garden in Europe, with over 1,000 different plant species. Its production facilities in Switzerland, Germany, and France use 100% renewable energy, and 98% of waste generated during production is reused. Weleda aligns its sustainability goals with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and is a certified B Corp, scoring 106.9 points out of the required 80 points for certification.

Weleda is committed to improving conditions for workers and the environment in the creation of their natural skin care products. They work with over 50 ethical sourcing partnerships worldwide, and follow UEBT criteria for social, economic, and ecological sustainability. Weleda actively supports farming partners through education and funding facilities in rural areas. Additionally, the brand has pledged to plant one million trees with Treesisters to combat climate change and supports Carbon8 in transitioning Australian farmers to regenerative agriculture.

This balm was great to use on my daughter’s dry skin/lips when she had a cold. Stopped them from peeling and left them soft and moisturised. I am also very impressed that the natural ingredients are sourced through organic cultivation/farming, across the world in order to improve soil health and conserve biodiversity.
