GOLD + EDITOR'S CHOICE
Non-toxic
"Formulated from excellent non-toxic, mostly organic or biodynamic ingredients. Contains organic sesame oil and organic calendula and chamomile flower extracts as well as zinc oxide.* *This product contains almond and sesame seed oil. If you have a baby/child with a high risk of a food allergy or eczema, it is not recommended to use this product until they are eating these foods in their diet and show no allergy. Studies have shown a link between the application of a potential food allergen repeatedly onto the skin and food allergen sensitisation. This increases the potential for severe food allergic reactions when the food is actually eaten. This is especially relevant for a child with a high risk of food allergy and also those with eczema."

What our experts say...

Review

This thick, rich balm is an icon amongst parents for good reason – it’s highly effective. It repairs inflamed skin unbelievably quickly, and does so without any irritation or reaction (so important when you’re dealing with delicate, fresh, baby skin). It’s well-considered and expertly curated, this brand has pioneered so much in this area. Their reputation for these statements gives them considerable cache, because it’s globally recognised as a sign of quality and safety.

It smells great and works really quickly which is great for the baby. Weleda has been a long time favourite of mine because of its functionality, credibility and sustainability.

Review

The product was easy to apply and wash off and it didn’t leave a residue on the skin at all once washed off. I liked the packaging and it would stand out on the shelf among competitors. There was no overly strong scent, and this is a great size tube to throw into a nappy bag. I love that Weleda strive to create fair conditions for the people who work with the earth and harvest the plants, and being a farmer, I also appreciate that they support Carbon8 to help transition Aussie farmers to regenerative agriculture.
