Product reviews from our experts…

The Stretch Mark Body Butter is a thick, quality cream that adds much needed moisture and hydration to stretched skin. I love the quality of this brand’s products and this is no exception. The fragrance and texture is pleasant, making this a pleasure to use daily throughout pregnancy.

Weleda’s ethical and sustainable sourcing policies are best in class. I also love how committed the brand is to sourcing quality, ethical and sustainable ingredients for its products.

I love the fast absorption of this body butter. It has a great consistency and really feels like you are nourishing your skin. I love that it works well with oils as well, almost like it locks in the body oils, when placed on top of an oil, enhancing moisture.

I really love that the product is packaged in a glass jar instead of a plastic container (like the majority of other body butters). It even points out on the label that ‘glass is infinitely recyclable’, a great way to educate consumers. It is a great size and lasts a good amount of time, even with twice daily application. I love that Weleda is a huge company, but their values of sustainability, ethical manufacturing and sourcing are prevalent throughout the entire company and product range. It is not a greenwashing exercise and they embed these values company wide. It allows the consumer to trust the product and know that what they are putting onto their skin is in fact tried, tested and developed by professionals with people and planet in mind.

I really like the texture of this belly butter! Feels great on the skin, not oily. I am also very impressed that the natural ingredients are sourced through organic cultivation/farming, across the world in order to improve soil health and conserve biodiversity. Very well done to have earned the “sourcing with respect” certification!
