Natureva manufactures products in China with a trusted, long-term partner under the amfori BSCI framework, following a rigorous supplier selection process that included verification by SGS for raw material identification and traceability. The chosen supplier has over 20 years of expertise and strong certification standards, with direct relationships enabling close oversight of production quality and ethical standards. Strict policies prohibit child labour and forced labour and no animal-derived materials or animal testing are involved.
Natureva uses natural materials including diatomaceous earth, recycled post-consumer paper fibres and mineral lime, resulting in a compostable product that is free from synthetic fibres and microplastics. The product is designed as a long-lasting alternative to traditional fabric dish drying mats, reducing replacement frequency and ongoing water and energy use. Packaging is 100% recyclable, primarily kraft paper and optimised to minimise excess space, with sea freight used exclusively to reduce transport emissions.
Natureva supports domestic employment and operational infrastructure by partnering with Australian service providers, including FirstPage, New Wave Accounting and local fulfilment and delivery services. Orders are shipped from Australia, with most products dispatched through Amazon’s Ship in Own Packaging program to minimise excess packaging and a transition to in-house Australian warehousing with carbon neutral delivery is planned. Within 1–2 years, a portion of profits will be allocated to structured giving initiatives such as WaterAid, 1% for the Planet frameworks, or Greening Australia’s Reef Aid program.

Product Reviews by Experts

Perfect stone mat to soak up messy pup slurps. This absorbed any water spill miraculously and makes water time way less stressful. I find other mats get slimy and only add to the problem. The natural stone keeps the area clean and miraculously dry! Also a cute and aesthetic addition to our kitchen area and it seemed to stop the food bowl from slipping about and kept it in one spot. Crafted from natural ingredients is such a point of difference for pet products, saves on water and energy with the usual constant cleaning of regular pet mats so I love this time and planet saving benefit. Feels so much cleaner and works better making it a more sustainable option.

I instantly liked the design look and feel of this product as well as its purpose! We don’t have one of these and it really helps with the mess on the floor that can be caused with pup feeding habits. The stone texture was also aesthetically pleasing and unique. I was impressed by the the longevity of this product. This is a ‘slow’ product in that it is a long lasting addition to pet owner households. This is something that can be overlooked in the sustainability conversation – many toys or products are made sustainably but don’t last, thus contributing to the waste issue. The product felt sturdy and legitimately like it would be a staple for awhile. Designed as a long lasting alternative to traditional fabric dish drying mats, reducing replacement frequency. I was also impressed by the consideration of materials used for the mat – natural diatomaceous earth was not something I was familiar with and its use for this product felt new and innovative with the supplementation of recycled papers and mineral lime.

This works a treat. So invaluable for dogs that love a messy drink and to protect floors. Big fan. I appreciate that this product is free from synthetic fibres and protects waterways from microplastics.
