Calming Blend Hand & Body Lotion – Pollys Farm

FINALIST
Best Body Moisturiser 2025

$39.00

A luxurious lotion featuring a blend of Lavender, Lemon, Rose Geranium and Australian Sweet Orange to soothe the senses. It contains extra virgin olive oil, avocado, grapeseed, organic shea, hemp seed and jojoba for deep hydration and skin nourishment, promoting healthier, glowing skin.

Formulated with excellent clean ingredients.
Polly's Farm products are handcrafted by Kimberley Kidger on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. All products are tested on friends rather than animals, utilising pure natural botanicals and locally foraged or organically grown ingredients from their farm. Ingredients are sourced from suppliers aligned with ethical values and all products are vegan-friendly, except for one fragrance-free Castile Goat's Milk Soap made with milk from local pet goats.
Polly's Farm uses recycled PET for its lotion and hand wash bottles while aiming to transition to cardboard bottles as technology improves. The products are palm oil-free, and all packaging is designed for reuse, recycling, or composting. Website orders are shipped in plain craft boxes with compostable wood wool and include a card with eco-friendly packaging ideas. Additionally, orders are sent in compostable mailers. Some ingredients are grown organically or foraged locally and the Botanical Candles come with a seed card for planting thyme. Soap bags can be repurposed for jewelry or electronics and soap shavings are being transformed into DIY soap-making kits. Most products are vegan-friendly, except for one Castile Goat's Milk Soap sourced from local pet goats. All printed materials are on FSC Accredited paper and use vegetable-based inks, making them recyclable, compostable and biodegradable.
Polly's Farm engages in social responsibility by gifting surplus botanicals to the community at local markets. Additionally, they donate soap shavings to Saltbush Balnarring, a local retreat, for use in holiday craft programs aimed at high-needs children who are residing with their parents for respite.

Product Reviews by Experts

This scent blend is so special- it’s comforting and calming and soothing. I wanted to keep reapplying, especially to dry winter hands, because of how cosy the scent made me feel (even if the clever rich formula meant I didn’t really need to reapply quite so regularly). There’s such a charm and authenticity that runs through every aspect of this brand. Not just in the big efforts like recycled bottles but in the small thoughtful touches. You can feel the care and integrity when you use the products. Utterly delightful. Keep it up!

From the moment I received the packaging, I was impressed by the wow factor- it even included a beautifully presented card with fun ideas on how to reuse Polly’s Farm packaging. My 2-year-old son and I had a great time decorating the box with crayons, which made it even more special for us. As for the lotion itself, the calming lavender scent is absolutely lovely and after a long day of gardening where my hands felt dry and wrinkly from wearing gloves, I noticed that within just a minute of applying the lotion, those little wrinkles disappeared and my skin felt baby soft. I really love how effective and nurturing this product is! It’s truly impressive that all Polly’s Farm products are handmade by Kim herself on the Mornington Peninsula. This personal craftsmanship adds such a heartfelt and genuine touch to the brand, making the supply chain feel much more human and connected. The commitment to using pure natural botanicals- many of which are wild foraged or organically grown on the farm- shows deep respect for nature and sustainability. Choosing suppliers who align with strong ethical values, along with cruelty-free testing and mostly vegan-friendly products, highlights a sincere dedication to doing good for both people and the planet. Well done on creating such a beautiful, meaningful brand that’s rooted in care and integrity!

I’m honestly obsessed with this lotion- the scent is so beautiful and calming, like an instant little mood lift with the lavender, lemon, rose geranium and sweet orange. It feels super grounding but fresh at the same time. The texture is perfect too- really hydrating without feeling heavy or greasy, and it actually lasts. I love knowing it’s packed with all those nourishing oils like olive, avocado, jojoba and hemp and you can just tell it’s made with care. My skin feels soft and happy, I really love that Polly’s Farm is refreshingly down-to-earth and thoughtful. You can tell straight away that it’s all made with real care- from the handmade products crafted by Kimberley herself on the Mornington Peninsula, to the wild-foraged and homegrown ingredients, it’s all super natural and done with purpose. There’s zero fluff, just honest, plant-based goodness (with the sweetest exception of one goat’s milk soap made using milk from her neighbour’s pet goats- which I find kind of adorable). The sustainability side is also next-level in the best way- recycled PET bottles, compostable mailers and clever touches like including a card with every order that gives fun ideas for reusing your packaging (like turning your soap bag into a jewellery pouch or using wood wool to make a scarecrow- love that!). Even the candles come with seed cards so you can grow thyme once you’ve finished burning them. It just feels like every little detail has been considered, not in a preachy way, but in a really creative, genuine, feel-good way!
