Aussie parents created Joonya, wipes that are Certified Vegan and Animal Test Free, to address their sons' chemical-induced nappy rash. Joonya partners with the non-profit 'Trees For The Future' to plant one tree for every subscription order and uses FSC certified pulp in its products. The brand implements water and energy sustainability practices, with its manufacturing plant operating on 100% solar electricity, having contributed to the planting of over 59,305 trees as of June 30, 2024.
Joonya is an Australian-owned brand that plants one tree for every subscription order, totaling 76,291 trees through trees.org. They were the first Australian-owned nappy brand to obtain an FSC license, ensuring the use of certified materials that support indigenous forest communities. The brand focuses on creating allergy-free products for babies, achieving Dermatest Certification to confirm their products do not cause rashes. The brand prioritises transparency by investing in independent toxicology testing and sharing results on their website. Their direct-to-consumer model enables them to offer premium, non-toxic wipes at affordable prices, while also donating over $50,000 worth of essentials to Share the Dignity and Ruah in 2025 to support domestic violence shelters and communities affected by natural disasters.

Product Reviews by Experts

Love love love that these have a tab at the back so when you’re done you can roll them up and stick the nappy together, I find a lot of the more natural low-tox nappy brands don’t have these on there pull ups and its really inconvenient. The fit of these pull ups was great, very stretchy waistband and didn’t irritate my babies skin at all. They felt really soft and i loved the little sun prints on the nappy too! I love when businesses and products are designed and created by parents who have seen a gap in the market, knowing that the owners themselves had kids who suffered with chemical induced nappy rash gave me peace of mind that these nappies would be amazing on my babies skin (and they were). Im impressed that with every subscription they plant a tree, so many have been planted already! Im also impressed that the manufacturers are 100% solar panel operated, great for the environment!

These pull-ups are well made and easy to use, which really matters when you’re in a rush. They fit nicely, feel soft and the design is clean and simple. I also liked that the packaging was eco-friendly- it arrived without unnecessary waste and still looked beautiful, which I appreciated. It’s reassuring to see how many certifications back this product. The use of renewable electricity and recycled production waste shows a clear effort to reduce environmental impact. I also liked that they’re transparent about avoiding harmful substances and that the product is vegan and cruelty-free- it feels like a brand that genuinely wants to do better on multiple fronts!

What I love most about Joonya pull-ups is how gentle they are on my toddler’s skin- they’re like a little cloud of comfort that keeps him happy all day. As a mum, it’s such a relief to find a product that’s free from all those scary chemicals and made with care for both my child and the planet. Plus, knowing they’re made by Aussie parents just makes me feel part of a community that truly understands what families need. It’s the perfect combo of softness, safety and sustainability! I’m really impressed by Joonya’s strong commitment to sustainability and safety, especially how they back it up with respected certifications like the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and EU Ecolabel. It’s great to see that their production process is environmentally conscious, using renewable electricity and recycling waste, which shows they truly care about reducing their footprint. I also appreciate that their nappies are free from harmful chemicals like PAHs, chlorine and formaldehyde and that they’re regularly tested to ensure they’re gentle on little ones’ skin. Plus, being vegan and cruelty-free really reflects a thoughtful, ethical approach that makes me feel good about choosing their products for my family.
