Product Reviews by Experts

This is the perfect cleanse for a fresh, ritual-like moment at the end of the day. I found it strong – a proper deep cleanse that I know a lot of people would enjoy, especially anyone dealing with enlarged or clogged pores through the T-zone. It’s the kind of cleanser you can still smell in the air after you’ve rinsed it off, and it sets the skin up well for the next steps. The packaging is sleek, the jelly-like gel texture is fun and it lathers up well. I really enjoyed trying this one, and it made me curious about the rest of the brand’s range. It’s lovely to hear that Habitual Beauty joined the Encoreship Program, which is such a wonderful way to support women re-entering the workforce. I was particularly moved by their Bound by Love campaign and their commitment to support women through complicated pregnancies, both during and after. It’s clear that their mission to support their community and contribute meaningfully goes beyond the generous monetary support to meaningful product donations for difficult times when people feeling vulnerable need that extra care.

I really like a silky cleanser, one that feels really smooth when you’re using it and this gave that! There’s not a huge scent to compete with, which I liked, but it still felt like a luxurious product to use. Love the packaging, love that I can use it to remove make-up AND to cleanse. Just a really lovely cleanser! I really like that everything is made in-house in Australia with strong regulatory compliance and third-party testing, giving a real sense of control and quality. There’s also a clear effort to source ingredients responsibly and use recyclable packaging where possible (that also looks beautiful and functions well). What stands out most to me though, is their social impact work, especially the meaningful fundraising and support for pregnancy and infant loss charities, hospital partnerships and their ongoing commitment to supporting mothers and families in really practical ways. I love a brand that puts their money where their mouth is when it comes to values and these guys do that.

I liked how gentle yet effective this cleanser felt on my skin. It cleansed well without leaving my skin feeling stripped or tight, which I really value in a cleanser. The texture was pleasant to use, the scent was fresh and enjoyable, and overall it left my skin feeling clean, balanced and comfortable after each use. I was most impressed by the brand’s strong commitment to local Australian manufacturing, transparency and quality control across the supply chain. Their focus on responsible ingredient sourcing, recyclable packaging and reducing waste shows genuine effort toward sustainability. I also really appreciated their meaningful social initiatives, particularly their support for pregnancy and infant loss communities, women returning to the workforce, and broader education and advocacy efforts.
