Aleph Beauty manufactures its products locally in Auckland, New Zealand at GMP certified facilities and is Leaping Bunny Certified. The brand uses locally sourced ingredients such as BioActive Totarol™ from reclaimed Tōtara wood, ensuring minimal forest disturbance. Sustainable Practices
Aleph has been a B-Corp member since 2023, meeting verified social and environmental standards. The brand operates the ReAleph Take-Back Program, enabling customers to return empty packaging for recycling or reuse, with over 11,000 units recycled through partners in Auckland and, in the United States, through Pact Collective. Most products are water-free to reduce packaging and resource use. Jars are made from recyclable glass and aluminium. Aleph also measures Scope 1 and 2 emissions using carbon accounting software.
Social Impact
Aleph partnered with Dress for Success to provide make-up services and products supporting unemployed and underemployed women. As the official makeup brand for Breast Cancer Cure New Zealand, the brand volunteered over 100 hours and donated products and services for fundraising fashion shows and the Tees for a Cure 2025 event, where all profits supported breast cancer research. Aleph also supported 12 restoration projects across Aotearoa New Zealand through Trees that Count.
