Best Skincare for Oily Skin / Acne 2026

$59.95

Serum of Clear is an all-natural serum formulated to target congestion and blemishes. Each ingredient penetrates deep into pores to keep them clean, control oil production, fade spots, and promote balanced, healthy skin for a clear, even complexion.

Formulated with excellent clean ingredients, including some organic ingredients.
Eco by Sonya requires principal ingredients to do no harm to skin, people or the planet and ensures all ingredients are sustainably and responsibly farmed. The brand considers the entire lifecycle of each ingredient, including its origin, the people who grow it and its impact on local communities. Eco by Sonya is Certified Organic under Australian Government Organic and Biodynamic Standards, guaranteeing ingredients are non-GMO, with no synthetics, herbicides, pesticides, or animal testing. Furthermore, wherever possible Australian suppliers are prioritised.
Eco by Sonya uses packaging made from glass, sugar-cane plastic produced in a carbon-neutral, solar-powered Australian facility and post-consumer recycled materials. Its office and warehouse operate on solar power and the brand is moving towards being paperless. All shipping boxes and packaging paper are biodegradable and made from recycled materials. They also participate in a reforestation program, planting trees with purchases and offsetting remaining carbon emissions through Australian native reforestation projects.
Eco by Sonya supports a wide range of charities, causes and individuals, primarily through its Miracle Made Foundation, a not-for-profit initiative that directs 100% of profits from selected products—Hand & Nail Cream, custom-designed oversized tea towels and Cleansing Puffs—back into the community. All proceeds and donations currently support victims of domestic violence, the homeless community and palliative care comfort boxes delivered directly to hospitals. The Foundation operates with zero fees or administrative costs, with Sonya personally ensuring all donations reach those in need.

Product Reviews by Experts

I really like how the Serum of Clear feels like a targeted, no-fuss treatment for when my skin is breaking out or feeling a bit congested. It’s lightweight and easy to layer into my routine, and I like that it feels more like it’s working with my skin to calm inflammation and support clarity over time rather than being overly harsh or stripping. It gives me that sense of “resetting” my skin without overwhelming it, which makes it easy to stay consistent with. The brand feels genuinely grounded in natural, Australian-made skincare with a strong focus on ethical and eco-conscious practices. They’re well known for being certified organic and cruelty-free, and they really lean into transparency around ingredients and sustainability. It feels like a brand that’s built around long-term skin health and environmental responsibility rather than quick fixes or trend-driven claims, which makes it easier to trust and stick with.

This is everything I want an exfoliating serum to be – gentle and calming at once. It didn’t sting on application, but I could still feel that gentle chemical exfoliation, which I love for my congestion-prone skin. The formula feels thoughtful, the packaging is lovely and I even liked the soft green tint to the serum. The blend includes aloe vera and glycerin, so it stays soothing and hydrating, and I loved seeing licorice root in there, a favourite of mine for stubborn scarring. Choosing lactic acid as the AHA is very welcome too, rather than a harsher glycolic, and then of course there’s the oil-soluble salicylic acid. It’s a really well-rounded exfoliating serum – the kind I wish was the standard for acne-prone skin, instead of some of the harsher options people tend to gravitate towards. This was lovely, and I’d happily recommend it. The brand has an absolutely wonderful, holistic approach to social responsibility – supporting vulnerable people in the community, including those experiencing houselessness and victim-survivors of domestic violence, through the Miracle Made Foundation, their own grassroots not-for-profit. I love the sugarcane packaging across the products and materials, and the use of PCR plastic, and it’s great that the brand offsets its carbon every time you purchase. I really enjoyed learning about their positive approach to social impact.

I liked that it was absorbed well and it didn’t cause any irritation. I also like how the brand focuses on sourcing sustainable ingredients and how their products are consciously formulated.
