The founding family hand-harvests wild seaweed, sea mud and sea salt using low-impact methods, ensuring full traceability and eliminating opaque supply chains. All products are vegan, cruelty-free and manufactured in a municipally classified food-grade facility. Seaweeds are USDA Certified Organic and the facility operates as certified zero-waste.
Sustainable Practices
Seaflora sources Douglas Fir and Western Cedar from fallen branches on family property in Sooke, approximately 2 km from the production facility, collecting botanicals only after natural winter storms without cutting live trees. Fallen branches are repurposed and cold-pressed in-house, turning natural waste into a high-value product. Production is done in small batches by hand. Packaging uses recyclable glass with a compostable outer box and is made in a zero-waste facility.
