The most aesthetic dog toy in the house – I loved the size, durability and look of this toy for our new puppy. I sat it on our bookshelf at first and she investigated it for a while before having a play. I think the texture is really appealing. It’s really stood the distance too- still looking brand new! Small batch made with GOTS certified fair trade production makes this an even better buy for me; I loved the minimal packaging that was easily recyclable and repurposed.
On my gawd as a plant lover this Monstera design was so beautiful. It was almost too beautiful to give to my dog to destroy. Super impressed by design but also durability thanks to such mindful textures. I loved reading about the partnership with Regenerative Australia and the replanting of trees. Very environmentally savvy practices.
The big leaf was a bit of an anomaly at first but the large flat shape was easy for our pup to pick up but also chew on – like a flat large biscuit. The materiality of wool felt and buffalo feather gave different interesting textures, another strong addition to its chewability. I loved the fun and playful nature of this product – a simple big leaf. Dog’s products are like kids’ ones sometimes in that simplicity is often the most effective. I was impressed by the fact that this brand had such a holistic approach to its sustainability – from packaging to materials and even packing slips and receipts, through to the repurposing of boxes and use of recycled products (like recycled wool). The brand is clearly striving to reduce its footprint every step of the way. Equally, the partnership with Regenerate Australia showed a genuine commitment to community support and restoring natural systems. It was also good to read that despite being manufactured offshore, this product is still supporting an onshore not for profit.
