Wild Organic Ways formulates and manufactures all products in Northern NSW, Australia, supporting local industry and maintaining full oversight of production standards. The brand prioritises plant-derived, minimally processed ingredients sourced from reputable Australian suppliers, with full ingredient disclosure for transparency and traceability. All products are cruelty-free and vegan, with no animal testing or animal-derived ingredients. Packaging and labels are Australian made and a zero-waste return, refill and reuse system is implemented to minimise waste.
Wild Organic Ways repurposes camphor hydrosol, a by-product of the invasive camphor laurel species in Northern NSW, diverting tonnes from burning or landfill and supporting land regeneration and native biodiversity. The brand uses minimal, fully biodegradable formulations compatible with septic and grey-water systems and operates a zero-waste refill system with concentrate-based products to reduce single-use plastics. Local sourcing and small-batch production minimise transport emissions, resource consumption and waste. Future plans include exploring renewable energy for production facilities.
Wild Organic Ways supports the Northern Rivers community by sourcing ingredients, packaging, labels and professional services locally, partnering with independent and community-based retailers and collaborating with other Northern NSW businesses. The brand provides education on low-tox, zero-waste living through workshops, social media and local events and sponsors local sporting teams and community events. During recent natural disasters, it supplied products free or at cost to affected residents, supporting community health and recovery.

Product Reviews by Experts

This spray has a wonderful scent and considering the ingredients are both safe and toxic free for our little ones, it feels like a great alternative to conventional repellants. What a brilliant idea to turn an invasive species into a usable insect repellent, solving two problems with one product. It’s wonderful that the ingredients are all sourced in Australia and this business supports local communities in truly heartwarming ways.

They smell beautiful, feel gentle and thoughtfully made, and are a great natural alternative to conventional insect repellents. I like the simple ingredient list & aloe vera, which gives the product a soothing feel. I love Wild Organic Ways’ regenerative approach to sourcing ingredients, especially the use of camphor hydrosol derived from invasive camphor laurel trees, which turn an environmental problem into a valuable resource. Their efforts to offer safe products, combined with community initiatives and practical support during natural disasters, show a holistic approach to environmental and social responsibility.

This is a great natural and DEET-free mosquito repellent. It’s Australian made and designed for Aussie mossies. It’s a very simple product and as natural as you can get and uses an invasive species as a core ingredient. This is a small brand that sources locally to produce a simple, effective product. Using Camphor is a great way to differentiate from the others in the market.
