I love this Worthy drink bottle made from natural materials in a sustainable way. I am so impressed how lightweight and strong it is. Being made of non-toxic materials, it also smelt great and the water tasted great from the first use. The slim design fits nicely into my bicycle water bottle holder and is easy to open and drink from with one hand (important while I am riding or driving). It also slots easily into my backpack water holder. This is my new go-to water bottle. I am so impressed that this water bottle is made from a 100% sugarcane biopolymer – a great alternative to fossil fuel plastic. As well as being made from natural materials in a carbon neutral process, it is also waste-free and the company gives 10% to support abandoned street children in Mumbai. The bottle is also 100% recyclable. The idea for Worthy bottles came out of wanting to actively do something about the amount of plastic waste in the world – I love practical activism – and decided to create a brand that is good for people and the planet. I also appreciate that Ang, the founder, goes out to speak with people about becoming a leader of positive change. Worthy is a great ethical brand socially and ecologically.
I really appreciated the Worthy reusable bottle for how lightweight and travel-friendly it is, especially compared to heavier metal bottles. I took it to Bali and used it while exploring, and it never leaked, even while being tossed around in my bag. I admire the use of Australian-made sugarcane bioplastic and the brand’s take-back program, which makes it feel like a genuinely thoughtful, circular alternative to conventional plastic bottles. It is clear that social impact is woven into this brand’s business model, with every purchase helping support community initiatives while championing ethical supply chains, education and opportunities for future generations.
What a game-changer the Worthy reusable sugarcane drink bottle is! It’s so refreshing to see a renewable alternative to fossil-fuel plastics that is lightweight and circular by design. As someone who prioritises purchasing items that limit environmental impact, the product’s design and processes and Worthy Take Back Program really align with my values towards sustainability. The design is well thought out and easy to incorporate into daily life with ease. I’m really impressed by the brand’s innovation to create an alternative to fossil-fuel plastics made using 100% sugarcane with sustainability at the heart of the business from raw materials and manufacturing through to packaging, operations and end-of-life solutions. This is also evident in the brand’s closed-loop initiative with the Take Back Program, where the product can be returned and remade in a circular life-cycle of the product.
