Ethical Practices
Joonya publishes independent lab results for harmful chemicals, providing transparency and accountability in every product. Pull-ups are Dermatest®, Allergy Certified and OEKO-TEX® certified, ensuring they are gentle, hypoallergenic and free from harmful substances. Products are certified Vegan and Animal Test Free by PETA, with safety verified via independent toxicology testing. The brand works with certified manufacturers meeting strict labour, environmental, and safety standards and holds FSC® certification for responsible sourcing of raw materials.
Sustainable Practices
Joonya uses FSC®-certified wood pulp from responsibly managed forests in its absorbent core, employs Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) processing with oxygen and ozone and manufactures in Denmark at facilities certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and EU Ecolabel. Bulk-saver cartons are designed to minimise packaging waste and lower carbon emissions. For every subscription order, one tree is planted through Trees for the Future to support reforestation and regenerative agriculture.

It would also be great to see more natural materials overall, as even the layers that don’t directly touch baby’s skin can still matter when it comes to leaching and off-gassing.
