Ethical Practices
Polly’s Farm products are handmade by Kimberley Kidger in Shoreham, Victoria, Australia, allowing full transparency and small-batch oversight from formulation to finish. Products are tested on friends, not fauna, with no animal testing or sourcing from suppliers who do. Ingredients are ethically sourced, prioritising Australian suppliers who provide documentation regarding cruelty-free status and responsible manufacturing practices. Many botanicals are grown organically on the farm or wild-foraged locally, supporting traceability. All products are vegan-friendly except the fragrance-free Castile Goat’s Milk Soap, made with milk from local pet goats.
Sustainable Practices
Polly’s Farm uses recycled PET for lotion and hand wash bottles and is seeking to adopt cardboard bottles as technology allows. All packaging is designed to be reused, recycled or composted, with website orders shipped in compostable mailers and plain craft boxes with wood wool, both compostable or recyclable. Products are palm oil-free and vegan-friendly, except for one Castile Goat’s Milk Soap made with milk from local pet goats. Several ingredients are grown organically or locally wild foraged. All collateral is printed on FSC Accredited paper with vegetable-based inks.
Social Impact
Polly’s Farm donates surplus botanicals to the local community at markets to encourage connection and reduce waste and provides soap offcuts and shavings to Saltbush Balnarring for use in creative holiday programs supporting high-needs children and families accessing respite care. The brand operates as a small, owner-run farm enterprise that reinvests locally and contributes to the Mornington Peninsula’s artisan economy and maintains an Acknowledgement of Country recognising the Traditional Custodians of the land.
