Conserving Beauty sources ingredients responsibly and shows their origin transparently on each product page. They use dissolvable, compostable, biodegradable and infinitely recyclable materials and only partner with suppliers that respect their farmers and manufacturing team with proper health and safety, fair pay and no child labour. The brand is also cruelty-free and vegan, partnering exclusively with suppliers who do not condone or test on animals.

Sustainable

Conserving Beauty has become the first global beauty partner of the Water Footprint Network (WFN) and is working on a custom research project with the WFN that will be published later this year. The study is expected to measure the savings made by each Conserving Beauty product's exact water footprint, in line with the brand's goal to exclude water from its products and sustainably manage its water footprint. Among other sustainability efforts, the brand has also developed a world-first patented fabric technology and partnered with SeaTrees to offset its carbon footprint.

Responsible

Conserving Beauty has partnered with SeaTrees to restore, plant and protect coastal ecosystems, with one mangrove tree planted in exchange for a product purchase or sign-up for their newsletter. Mangrove trees sequester carbon five times more effectively than tropical forests, create critical habitat for threatened species, provide sustainable employment for two Indonesian villages and protect areas from storm surges and rising sea levels. The brand is led by an all-female board of directors and ensures social responsibility through a supplier conduct code that protects against discrimination, child labour, freedom to leave and equal and fair pay.

What a clever idea! These natural, effective and dissolvable face wipes are so convenient! They gently remove just about anything from your face (sunscreen and makeup included) and leave your skin feeling moisturised rather than stripped of moisture as many other face wipes do. I now keep these in my handbag, bathroom and caravan!

It is wonderful that the brand values transparency and includes ingredient sourcing, as well as environmental impact details, for each product on their website. I also love that Conserving Beauty is partnered with SeaTrees so that for every product purchase or sign-up to the brand’s newsletter, a mangrove tree is planted to restore and protect coastal ecosystems.
