Designer Bums Reusable Cloth Nappies combine style and sustainability with a trim-fit design and limited-edition prints. They are an All-In-Two style, adjustable with three rise settings and can be used from birth to toilet training. Each nappy includes two bamboo inserts.

As part of their social and corporate responsibility, they independently audit their factories to maintain standards of labour, health and safety, environmental performance, and ethics. They use natural fibers and recycled materials wherever possible and use OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified materials that are eco-focused, natural and organic and free of toxins. They aim to increase their use of sustainable materials in the future through the transition to recycled fabrics. Sustainable

Designer Bums has saved more than 21 million nappies from landfill in its 10-year history. The brand aims to reduce waste and promote the use of sustainable products, including a range of reusable nappies. Designer Bums also works with local councils and community organisations to support moving towards reusable products. Its custom-design nappy for Banyule Council features landmarks including the Ivanhoe Clock Tower and Warringal Park Wishing Tree. The brand uses a combination of sustainable cardboard and recycled plastic in its mailings and is searching for a suitable compostable packaging option.

Responsible

Designer Bums engages in social responsibility efforts through one-off donations and nurturing ongoing relationships with various organizations. The brand has donated reusable nappies to Epworth Freemasons hospital and given reusable sanitary products to Share the Dignity to help those who cannot afford to follow eco-values. Designer Bums also supports charities with monetary or product donations, such as creating nappies to raise money for the bushfires in 2020 and making monetary donations to The National Breast Cancer Foundation and The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. The brand partners with different causes to donate items when there is a need for them, such as donating play mats to injured animals in rehabilitation.

I like the fit of these, how absorbent they are and the print is super cute/stylish! The inserts are nice and soft on my daughter’s skin and haven’t leaked. I also like that the brand is focused on reducing landfill, using bamboo and working with/donating to various organisations.
