The primary fabric is Good Earth Cotton® regeneratively grown on Kamilaroi Country (NSW, Australia), ensuring full traceability and responsible agricultural sourcing. The brand prioritises fair pay and respectful long-term relationships with local makers and suppliers and is actively working towards Australian Made and Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA) certification.
Sustainable Practices
Fur-You prioritises natural fibres over synthetic and recycled polyester fabrics to avoid synthetic microfibre shedding and support safer biodegradability. Garments are produced locally in Australia in small batches to minimise overproduction and textile waste. All designs are hand screen-printed in Melbourne using Permaset Aqua eco-friendly water-based inks that are non-toxic, PVC-free and phthalate-free. Packaging initiatives include the use of compostable plant-based mailers where possible, reuse of clean supply chain packaging and a transition plan towards fully certified compostable mailers.
